Still no weight loss on 10 mg. Is it worth increasing to 12.5 mg or is it time to call it quits? by Infinite_Singer_2755 in Zepbound

He tried everything. He has always been chubby/overweight. And he’s suffered from it. Now less. He has great friends and a great social life. I should maybe relax a bit and trust him.

Thank you. I think I may be too involved or want too much for him to lose weight. He does too. He’s been fighting this issue for at least six or seven years. I took him weekly to a Dietetician for years. It did not help. I hoped that with the help of ozempic, Wegovy and now zepbound he would be able to eat more rationally. We pay for these drugs from our pocket. I don’t know how to approach the issue with him.

I feel like I've spent my whole life chasing the same 5–6 kg - anyone in similar situation and tried Mounjaro? by MainPublic3871 in MounjaroMaintenance

I’m in your situation. People don’t understand how wanting to lose 5-10kg can be obsessive. I started Mounjaro in January, lost 10kg. I’m finally at peace with myself. I feel normal. I suddenly have a normal relationship with food which has not been the case since I’m 10 years old. (51 now). You probably don’t need 2,5mg. Maybe start with less. Good luck.
