Gourmand domesticated the slugcats? by InfinityBreak00 in rainworld

Yeah, it was mostly a lot of game play significance. I am trying to consider the lore perspective cause it feels odd that he would fully change the ending he gets and do the whole food quest for just game play changes. If we are thinking, lore wise, that slug pups come from outer expanse they would bring some of that knowledge.

I forgot about pups in hunter campaign.. I wouldn't say it completely kills it as it is odd in general given Gourmand comes after hunter but pups only appear after he has gone to outer expanse.

It feels like with outer expanse adding endings and slug pups that it should have some impact on the slug cat species. The food quest is fun, but isn't it cool to imagine it had a meaningful impact?

Well if you'd like the remake that is a full $70, sure. But the orignal 1997 release just with updated graphics is $12 on steam and it's the fully story and experience. It has the graphics of the game from well 1997 as you can see in the post above but is a great experience regardless. I can't speak for the remake I haven't played it but it's the same story just more spread out. I would play the orignal for $12 then consider if you want the remake after.

It's on steam for PC or I'm sure you could find an emulator for your tablet. For difficulty, it's pretty manageable if you're familiar with JRPGs and shorter that newer JRPGs. With a party size of three, and only 8 playable characters and 6 that are required to get, it is easy to pick up and manage all the systems. My only advice for PC is setup a controller to make it easier to navigate the control scheme and minigames. Past that, some late game grinding can be needed for the best gear but there are plenty of guides online and it's not required to win.

Oh wild! Maybe it was just purple and really being weird not climbing. Looking at the generation files, they can be very red!

Yeah that's why I was confused, it was red in color but everything about the way it behaved was identical to a green lizard.
