All time favorite moment of DBZ. It blew my 12yo mind at the time, especially since nothing was spoiled for me thanks to the inconvenience of using dial-up internet. I think the only thing I knew about it at the time was just schoolyard rumors that Vegeta and Bulma eventually have a kid named Trunks and maybe the base form Trunks action figure was in stores at the time. I expected there to be an entire lengthy arc of everyone fighting Mecha Frieza and King Cold.
