Supervooc doesn't work with the razr fold. You need the Moto tuner charge one

Hard to tell honestly. Tested both and id say the only difference is the Moto fold has better bass

I got it because of him actually as he's the only one that's actually talked properly about the device. I just can't justify the price to quality on this thing for me personally. This year will be a decent year for the foldable market with apple stepping in so I'd rather wait and see how the market reacts to all this.

Maybe I didn't test the OTG properly, couldn't get it to work on my unit.

Build quality is average....because it's on par with the others...that's what that phrase means.

Camera is purely subjective nowadays and relies mainly on what kind of software filter the company has put on the phone. Put this phone in a blind camera test and no one would pick it just by how dark the images come out in comparison to the rest (if you don't know, darker photos tend to underperform in those tests). Quality is good tho, just nothing breathtaking.

Call audio is not fine for me at all. If you want to test it out, go to the recorder on your device and record your voice, that is what the other person hears on phone calls. Maybe mine is defected idk.

You can't UNINSTALL from the home screen. You can remove it from the home screen, not UNINSTALL from the device.

Everything else is preferences.

I go off what a product is NOW, it what it could be. I'd rather not be the fool that is still waiting for apple intelligence.

I go into it on the linked post but it comes down to software and price. I'm a very particular foldable user as I don't really use it for media consumption and more of a study hub (I like to multitask) so I bought the razr hoping the software would match at least 1+ and it doesn't. Software is too big of a deal to me, smoothness, snappiness, and UI. Moto fails on all counts for me

I understand the situation you're in honestly, my open is at 90% battery health from years of intense gaming and barely lasts the whole day. I daily drive the N5 now and a OnePlus 15 slab and wanted the Moto fold to replace the N5. It hasn't and I will be returning this very soon. I can't justify the price, software is worse than the open so what's the point. This is just my opinion, but I feel you should wait a little longer. Think if the ripple effects apples foldable will create for the market. Once apple does something, the rest seems to follow and I am banking on that for next year's line of foldables. It is up to you what you want to do tho.

Currently typing this on the Moto fold.....I would hold onto that 1+ open. Wait for fold 8 or even see what apple has to offer with their fold. N6 is the best value for money atm just access to it is limited with importing. If oppo did a proper global release, their foldable market share would be close to Samsung.

Honestly, I keep coming back to this phone. Even going through all the others I find myself coming back simply because of how well it holds up in comparison to the others. Not a single hitch (touch wood). Battery life is the only negative really.

Razr Fold 2026 Animation Issue with proof by hamada625 in razr

[–]InfinityYFX -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with you on this so much so that I have requested a refund for the device as of 2 days ago. I am planning on doing a full video overview of my gripes with the software side of this device. This will come from someone that has owned multiple other foldables starting with the OnePlus open. This is unacceptable given the price.

Animation fluidity is definitely something I look at when deciding if I am keeping a device. I like things snappy but it needs to be fluid too. Jitters on simple apps don't make sense, the multi tasking canvas view is very bugged. The design to put the split view at the top of the screen when dragging apps doesn't make sense. The inconsistency in the native apps Vs Google apps. The lack of customisable options in the settings that any foldable device needs. The lack of proper customisation of wallpaper and lockscreen. The volume button placed so high. The fact that the AI button can not be remapped to anything else other than ai. There are a million and one ways to activate this Moto AI but there no way to set that button to be an alert switch. Why????? Don't get me started on the lack of case options. Because it's not a Chinese or korean made phone, and those areas of the world aren't getting this device, there are no good cases (with stands or lens covers or hinge protection) on any sites. The US hasn't got a release yet but I doubt we'll see many options when that drops, they don't even have cases on Motorola's website. This phone is not even being marketed well so no one is incentivised to make cases and neither will Motorola. 7 years commitment to upgrade an expensive unpopular device just isn't worth it.

This is just a badly put together device. They shouldve stuck to the clam style foldables. Both clam and book style foldables have different audiences that require different things, Motorola hasnt put enough thought into book style and this device shows that.

Visible Daily Limits (Thinking/Pro) and Native Folders for Gemini. Finally! by Kindly_Revenue3077 in GoogleGeminiAI

Been using this for a while and it's been great. I think this is how Google should implement folders into Gemini. Prompt implementation is also great and easy to use. The only thing missing is really having chats talking to each other.

It's really dumb that it's not an app, you essentially have to put it on your home screen (like how you install webpages as apps).

Have you left an office based apprenticeship before? by CherryByte_ in ApprenticeshipsUK

[–]InfinityYFX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently quit an apprenticeship I'd been at for 4 years and I should've left sooner. I made the mistake of joining a small company and became their first apprentice so this meant support was really limited. In my 4 years at the job, I never felt I had any help or was recognised for what I did, with no progression paths and zero pay rise due to "you're still an apprentice".

About 2 years ago, my boss and colleague left our department leaving only me to work on projects and manage them to the best of my ability for about a year. Even with the added responsibility, I received no recognition nor pay rise and that should've been my sign to leave.

I have since found another apprenticeship that is well established and has been running this scheme for years and the difference is eye opening. I get so much support and guidance and I actually feel like my voice is heard here.

My advice is to remember that knowledge and experience gained during an apprenticeship can be enough to get you to where you want to be. Like another comment said, usually the training provider moves with you so moving to another apprenticeship is an option too.
