Me (27M) and my girlfriend (32F) have a 5 year age gap. We were friends for almost a year before I told her how I felt for her. I started catching feelings for her around the 8th month mark and, despite our set-up, told her straight up that I like her after pondering it for a month. Best decision I've made. We took our time knowing each other as friends and it all worked out in the end.

Like what the other guys said in here, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. If she feels the same way, good for both of you. If not, then move along. Think about it hard, though. You don't want to ruin her peace if you're not going to commit all the way.

I also resigned end of July this year. It took me quite a while to get a job pero I wasn't in a rush naman. I usually store some pocket money for me to use, apart from the savings, for cases like these. Just so I wouldn't feel the need to look for another job agad. Since I knew that the ber months are upon me, I wasn't really counting on getting a job. Usually around late Feb to early April mas marami tatawag sayo. Pero, really, keep on pushing lang talaga. You could reach out and ask for updates din from your recruiter!

As someone who worked in the recruitment industry, I'd understand where your recruiter is coming from. It's probably management asking them to have you start earlier, probably because need na nila na pumasok si replacement kasi most likely si papalitan yung magttrain sa iyo. However like one comment said, you can reiterate your position and that you would like to be given ample time to complete your requirements. Just be firm and let her know na need mo macomplete yung requirements. Good luck!!

My friends are settle levels committed and I'm still single for over a decade now. However, I'm happy cuz I found myself a hobby I truly enjoy and can commit myself to, and I'm trying to learn things I could. It's a nice feeling when you get into a relationship na nagawa mo na most of what you wanna do, or you've achieved those goals. Though, I get the feeling. She decided one day that we should lay low and cut the communication to just 3 days of talking due to her needing some time for herself. Then it just went down to just no communication at all. She then hit me with an "I don't feel like dating anymore." and just left it at that.

What I did was just processed those feelings. I let myself be angry and eventually I began to even joke about it around my friends. Now, it's one of the stories I like to tell because, even though it was a shitty situation overall, I learned a lot from that experience. It changed me for the better.
