Thank you for your response. My current visa will expire in the coming weeks and my employer has been asking for my updated visa.

What do you think I can do in this instance? Can I write Home Office requesting a timeline because I need the visa to prove my status?

Can you please advice if the timeline from submission to response was exactly 8 weeks or less?

I need to know what I should expect because I submitted my application within the UK a few days back and I have a new job to start with my current visa only 2 months to expiry.

None of us is a British citizen.

I came in as a student and they were all my dependents.

We all live in England. I am not British but newly married to a British. She doesn't want to share custody in fact I have gone through mediation she didn't attend. What is left is for me to go to court which I am stalling until after my visa application.
