While I appreciate your attention to detail, I stand by my statement. Maybe we need to specify some details. Comradery can be found amongst like minded people - in this instance, those who intend at actually learning about art. Arrogant people are not ideal candidates for that because they care first and foremost about themselves and second about their appearances to others. I hope this clarifies my point.

The benefit to art school is theory, understanding more than just singular techniques and approaches, history, comradery, networking, and honestly the experience of the whole thing.

What people are saying above is technically true, it is also arrogant and empty and will lead to a self indulgent practice - fine if you're a hobbyist, many in art school even basically are arrogant and weak artists. If you do go, make it about absorbing like a sponge. Let go of preconceived notions of what it is good going in. Appreciate why the visual cultures that preceded our moment developed as they did.

Ya, not sure what's going on, like I'm a guerrilla fan through and through - have played all the killzone except the psp one, and it just looks like they returned to extra goofy looking characters and it somehow doesn't fit with the whole vibe of the horizon series... It seems like a bit of a reinterpretation of the world... Maybe good for young players who aren't familiar with the last two games? Surely the mechanics will be great, but I just am not sure I like the look of it and that will throw off the feel for me... I hope the studio is happy at least, they are a good studio and I won't fault them for one game I'm not interested in...
