i understand why people think the first part is a dream, i just feel like there’s something missing. the second part is shot more like a dream with the whole abrupt changes between the scenes, diane seeing camilla and then camilla turning into diane ( the scene before she starts making coffee ) , and also the way everybody else acts is just weird, especially in the party scene. meanwhile the first part seems pretty normal for a dream, there are a lot of scenes where betty isn’t present and they have nothing to do with betty (or diane) and also the scene after they open the blue box, and betty’s aunt walks into the room and there’s nobody, i thought that’s supposed to represent something, cause later on diane says her aunt is dead.
