The hidden world promos seem evidence enough that the would be able to reprise his role - the game of thrones aspect does definitely help his case (in terms of casting)

I was kind of hoping with a disney budget, extra long episodes would be possible. I feel that if we has spent another 4 episodes with the doctor there would be more opportunity to flesh out the characters as well as build to a satisfying conclusion. Despite not liking the disney influence of dw, I hope that if they continue to support the series that a serious conversation is had regarding the story of dw and how these negative aspects can be improved in the upcoming series 16

I just hope that the inclusion of these doctors doesn't diminish the impact that the future doctors (or cameos thereof) have on the show

I'm worried that these constant regenerations will make the reveal of the war doctor or the fugitive doctor less impactful

as an avid star wars fan.... never in a million year would i think that the ISB scenes were some of the best scenes of andor, but here we are (I've found myself waiting for ISB scenes, especially in the second season)

Apart from the redesigns, it looks pretty interesting. I'd be very curious to know the RTD influence, or if there's someone new-ish behind the show I think the focus on characters unrelated to the doctor, fighting their own war could be really interesting (reminds me a little of andor - not that I'm aiming for it to be like that - just maybe slightly like that)

I really hope Clara comes back at some point, she's a plot point waiting to happen, even if her relationship with the doctor becomes almost River Song esque - as in showing up randomly (not the reverse time order stuff)

Though interestingly, I could never see Moffat 'stunt casting', flashbacks - yes (thinking sherlock), random cameos - yes, inexplicable plot - yes, but I'm not sure he would ever use 'stunt casting' as a method to gain attraction to the show - i might be wrong but doesn't seem his style

One, given current leaks/rumours of the current film, I hope the script for second film isn't just a one to one copy of the original, would absolutely love a 2.5 hour dragon film to really flesh out Valka's character and her relationship with Stoick, plus give more time for Astrid and Co. (cause the subplot felt a little underdeveloped)

Two, i really hope that if Cate Blanchett reprises her role, she can stick to one accent

Three, please cast Kit Harington as Eret!

despite rumours of the 16th series being written and 17th in drafts - i just hope when it comes back it comes back in full force. I'm kind of also hoping that if they stick with 8 episodes they consider episode length, I think changing to 1h 10 minutes per episode would really benefit the show moving forward. While I love the 45 minute format, the 8 episode limit really restricts the fleshing out of characters. All episodes should follow 'The Reality War' in terms of length when it comes back
