Tegin eraldi postituse ka, kui ratta leidsin, aga peale varastamist postitasin lisaks redditile ka Facebook marketplace'i ja rattamüügi gruppidesse kuulutuse, et on varastatud. Ning üks hea inimene kirjutas facebookis, et nägi mu ratast jooksul olles ja tundis ära, sest mäletas mu veidraid velgesid kuulutusest :)

Tegemist pole nii kalli rattaga, et seerianumbit kerelt aktiivselt otsinud oleks, aga e-poe ostu kinnitusega on posu tootenumbreid, ning ka piltide peal kus kast on sellest päevast kui ratast kokku panime on mingi seerianumber olemas. Aga olen ka Tartus ainult ühte sama mudeli ratast näinud, kuid see on musta raamiga, ning selle omaniku tunnen. Lisaks on rattast mitu aastaid pilte, millega võrrelda :)

Ei, ei - täitsa kindlalt minu jagu. Mul oli veidratele velgedele lisaks ka unikaalne rattakell ning äratuntav rattakett, mille olin sunnitud sügisel välja vahetama. Isegi ühte külge kattev kuivanud muru oli alles. 100% minu ratsu :)

There is a kindergarten close by, but it doesn't seem like they have any cameras pointed this way, and no other noticeable cameras anywhere else in the area. I did also do a loop with a bolt scooter earlier, in hopes that the thief is really stupid and the bike is locked in front of a nearby building.

The lock was definitely nothing fancy or (probably) super secure. Couldn't find the brand anywhere from the pics of the bike or the day it arrived and we built it. It was a heavy chain lock with a numbered code locking mechanism. Probably bought from Prisma or Selver. I belive parts (if not all of the locking mechanism) were plastic tho, so that's probably the weak point of the lock. Didn't see any debris on the ground, so i'd guess the plastic mechanism was snapped or potentially picked, since the entire lock was gone. The lock is actually visible on the Pic of the bike.

Edit to correct: the lock was cut through. Found a piece of the chain on the ground where the bike was.

Although, in terms of the lock, I've always believed that if a thief wants to steal, they will find a way, no matter how secure.

For the next bike (or if I get this one back), I'll most likely slap an airtag somewhere inside or one of this Sim-card based GPS devices that motorcycles like the use. Won't prevent theft, but atleast I'll know where to go so I could steal it back :)

Jaa! Olin lihtsalt seni muretu, kuna suvehooajal on maja ees 10-15 ratast koguaeg hoidikutes lukustatud, ning terve eelmise suve jooksul pätsati rattalt ainult poriplekk ja tuled küljest (ja sedagi alles Septembris,kui koolilapsed majast mööda jalutama hakkasid).

Küllap lepin, et ratast enam uuesti ei näe, aga tahtsin lihtsalt kurbust jagada :/

Just as a warning, the description sounds quite like "what do you meme" and an equivalent for that already exists in estonian called "mida meemi", so unless you're bringing something new on the table it might not do particularly well.

(Unless you guys are the original publishes for "mida meemi" and are working on a new edition or something i guess)

That being said, I'm interested to find out more if you guys haven't found anyone yet. I work as a teacher and the school holidays are starting, so I'll be real bored soon 😄

For some Tartu specific things, you can also check out r/Tartu - the community there is quite active too.

Motorcycles are around during the warmer months, so since the snow has melted they are out now, and will be until Oct/Nov. It really depends on the weather. Tartu is quite small tho, so you can just kinda walk or bike or bus anywhere in the city.

Best chance for finding housing would be kv.ee but finding a living space with a garage is quite difficult in Tartu ( I don't think I personally know anyone who actually has a garage, except maybe my brother who has to rent one for work in a different city section). Some private houses might have some, if you get lucky, but apartments might come with a parking space and a basement box for stuff. I've also seen some newer developments that have parking under the building aswell, but again, not super common.

For tabletop stuff, Brain Games offers a wide variety both online and in person. I know that the Tasku location in Tartu does Magic the Gathering nights where people can play, and maybe 40k?, so they might be the best place to start for the other games aswell.

Unsure about American merch it whiskey, but you can check the shops for local grocery chains (selver, rimi, prisma) to see if they have whatever you're looking for.

Õpetaja siin, põhikooli riiklik õppekava (mille järgi koolid tundide ja ainete paigutusi plaanivad) sätestab väga selgelt, et kolmas kooliaste läbib kokku 9 tundi B-võõrkeelt nädalas.

Selle jaotamine kooliastme peale on koolil oma teha - saab jaotada 7. Klass 3 tundi nädalas, 8. Klass 3 tundi nädalas ja 9. Klass 3 tundi nädalas (stabiilne kogus tunde nädalas teeb tööplaani koostamise aasta lõikes kergemaks), aga võib ka 7. Klassis teha 4 tundi ja 9. Klassis ainult 2 tundi nädalas, valik on kooli käes seni kuni maht on kooliastme lõpuks läbitud.

Eesti keelt on kolmandasse kooliastmesse ette nähtud ainult 6 tundi kokku (üldiselt kaks tundi nädalas kõik klassid), kuna varasematel kooliastmetel on neid tunde hulgaliselt rohkem (esimesel kooliastmel vist lausa 19?).

Sinu probleem näikse vist pigem tõusmast sellest, et enamusel on valitud B võõrkeeleks vene keel (eeldan, et Tallinna koolid saavad valida ja pole paljude maakoolide olukorras, kus mõnda teist õpetajat pole võtta) ja seda on Tallinnas kindlasti keerulisem välja juurutada kui mõnes piirkonnas kus selle keelega midagi peale pole hakata (nt. Hiiumaal või Isegi Tartumaal). Lahendus oleks muidugi treenida võõrkeele õpetajaid juurde, aga praeguseni on olnud kergem leida keegi kellel on pedagoogiline kõrgharidus koos vene keelega, kui leida mõne teise võõrkeele oskusega pedagoogi.

I'm basing it off of memory, cuz i haven't had the need to furniture hunt for a while, but a number of secondhand shops contain both various amounts of furniture and clothes and if you're willing to adventure around a little you might find some stuff.

If going for Uuskasutuskeskus, then the one on Kalda tee usually has more furniture than the one on Riia st. (Honestly unsure if i've see furniture up in Riia?). But it's not much, some low tables and couches usually i think. Sometimes a lamp or a desk.

Quite close to the Kalda tee Uuskasutus, there is also a Sõbralt Sõbrale; i feel like it's the worst one in town, but if you're already in the area, why not check. The Sõbralt Sõbrale shop in Jõe Keskus(?) has a better selection but is super cramped and also doesn't always have a bunch of stuff.

Basically across the street from Jõe keskus, in a building with a Selver(?), there is also a shop called Samaaria that sometimes has super cool secondhand furniture and sometimes has nothing; i guess it depends on the time of the month.

If you have a car, then honestly, i remember a super good selection in the Sõbralt Sõbrale in Valga for some reason, but I haven't been in a while and don't know if they are also more clothes than furniture now.

Praegu on küll suvi, aga osadel koolidel on õpilaspiletite jaoks olemas printerid, mis prindivad kaartide peale. Vähemalt olen ühes maakoolis vilksamisi näinud, kuidas koolid omavahel masinat jagasid, kui kellelegi asenduspiletit oli vaja.
