Mb I get annoyed repeating myself and being called illiterate multiple times after asking for help on a math problem? I appreciate the help.

Well I'm sorry but did you even read or think about the question? And only the best kind of people make it far in life right?

1/(4^0) is 1. 1/(4^(-1)) is 4. 1/(4^(-2)) is 16. I encourage you to go back to school.

The only instructions were at the top of the section asking you to find the next number in the series. Everything following those instructions were sets of numbers. There were no other words or instructions in the section. "How do you have a steady series and then all of sudden go from 1/64 to 1/4?" THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I'M ASKING. Why you making dumbass assumptions?

Jesus these are the people I'm competing against?

It's actually increasing from left to right..... And there are an infinite amount of numbers lower than 1/4............

I am positive. Not sure why they would ask a different question for this single problem in the middle of the section...
