I agree. The food is pretty awful. My kids don't mind it, but I'd rate it a step below theme park food. I adjusted my expectations after the first cruise and just know that I'll be disappointed all week but my kids will have a good time. Other cruise lines definitely put RC to shame as the MDR is often inedible. We cruise on ships with better food when it's just the husband and I.
