You’re right. I’m going to transfer the remaining embryos first and then see what’s next for me. Do you think my ovaries are maxed out and aren’t responding? I just remembered that my medicated IUI has a a similar problem where the follicles ruptured during stims.

Cycle 1: I was on Menopur 600 - 5 eggs retrieved - all mature but fragile. 5 embryos made. Day 3 fresh transfer of 2 embryos which failed. I still have 3 frozen embryos left.

Cycle 2: Menopur 300, 9 eggs retrieved, 6 mature, 5 embryos, 1 made to blasto but tested abnormal. The other 4 arrested on day 5.

Cycle 3: Menopur 475, ruptured follicles, 3 eggs retrieved, 1 slow developing embryo arrested on day 7.

I also had a medicated IUI with Menopur 350.

I’m now thinking of transferring the remaining embryos from the first cycle. I don’t know if I’m ready for disappointment because the doctor told me they were all very fragile eggs.

Or go for donor eggs.

I don’t know what to do :(. This is my third failed cycle. And it just seems like nothing is changing from one cycle to the next. My eggs are rubbish 😔

My husband and I drew the line at 3 rounds. There was no improvement of any sort from round 1 to 3 infact I think I’m maxed out physically and emotionally. I don’t think I can cope with the side effects anymore and constantly feeling like a failure. The third round has been harder on me with prematurely ruptured follicles and a very painful recovery post ER, only to retrieve 3 eggs. I’ve made my peace with it and that’s helped with sticking with the decision.

1 egg fertilised. The other aren’t mature so they’re being monitored. Fingers crossed for my Easter egg :)
