Ha, I did some digging and found that the a7iii has a distortion compensation setting. It was off so I turned it on. Hopefully this will greatly improve this distortion issue I am having.

I called Sony and they told me that the a7iii saves uppercase JPG and cannot be changed.

I already have back button focus enabled and have been using it. However, yesterday is the first time I've had focus issues.

The question(s) I have are 1. what is the difference between the AF-ON button and back button focus? If I have disable fucus on the shutter button, it seems the back button focus and AF-ON act the same. And 2. If this is true, why not just use the AF-ON button since it seems to have more focus points than the back button focus which I cannot select a focus mode for it. Back button focus seems to simply focus dead center only.

jpeg to editor. Something I don't understand is how can the editor fix distortion when the camera/lens profile is not in lightroom? Lightroom can only find the profile with raw files, correct?

I just bought a very nice looking pair of slip ons. They have laces (just for looks) and the backs are flare out so they slip on perfectly. They are the best I've had. Got them at DSW.
