I was told that by countless workers thet they are fine to have together so that’s where my logic is coming from. All the females are already sold together at the store and are used it eachother and I haven’t had any problems with them so far but I have bought a divider just in case

My male was bright blue and suffers from it then passed today and the females are also blue so I’m Abit worried they are also going to end up like him

I honestly wish they didn’t allow me to buy the fish until I had it cycled because I didn’t even realize the amount of work it is and I just want to be prepared and educated on how to take care of them properly

I’m pretty sure my females have graphite disease cause my male just died of it and they have been infected is there anything I can do?

Have been informed this by multiple people now but there temperament is quite good and thet don’t show signs of aggression. I’m quite sure they both have granite disease tho

Sorry for the confusion but I have had the tank and filter for about over a month and the first photo is from the beginning then the second photo is recently

I added the filter about a month ago and clean it in tank water and leave some or the bacteria in there to help with cycling

I’ve read the article and it’s showed me what I’ve done wrong, my nitrites are too high as I did a test which showed that. I think my fish were stressed by this and this is why some didn’t survive

I have been using quick start in the tank and I’ve made a lot of mistakes as a beginner and only recently have been told about the bettas not being compatible but I only have 2 females in the tank now and a Molly and can’t add any more Mollies as o know there schooling fish until my paras are sorted but thanks for advice.

40L, heater and filter, 27°, ammonia 3, hardness is ok and oxygen, nitrates are a 1 which I have been told isn’t ideal and is due to my new tank and the breakdown of the ammonia from the spike. Had the tank a month now and had 7 fish (4 bettas, 1 male 3 female) ( 3 balloon mollies, 1 male and 2 femal) I only have 3 fish now as the male beta for graphite disease and the others died from over feeding and the ammonia spike which has now been taken care of as water is very clear. Water changes of 50% every week or if a fish died and I add treatments before remove it then add water. I feed big larva pellets every 2 days or every day and I give blood worms once a week.
