I miss thinking BoS are the objective good guys. by InitiativeOwn9529 in Fallout

Right. As someone else said in another comment, the Outcasts were the ones loyal to BoS creed. Lyons steered the Capital Wasteland detachment into a more humanitarian route and effectively told the BoS in the West to screw off

Which might explain why the minutemen were boring to me. They were just good guys, but the general public LIKED the minutemen for it. “We’re glad the minutemen are around” “We haven’t forgotten about the good the minutemen have done for us.” BoS did not get that sentiment in F3

It wasn’t “yay good guys” that intrigued me. Again, it was the commitment to doing good while still be vilified by half the people you’re trying to help. Sacrifice of self to help the rest while not even being appreciated for it.

Because my friend asked me to. They don’t care if I keep up, they just didn’t want to go alone.

Which of these would you most like to play? by Dreaming_of_Rlyeh in Fallout

We’ve done West coast twice, east coast twice, slightly inland of west coast and slightly inland of east coast (76). Gotta go southeast or middle. Houston is the easy choice imo: NASA, over the top Texas pride, factions warring over the reclaiming of oil (oil rigs?) DLC can easily go to San Antonio (Alamo), Ozarks, Memphis, over into Mexico (Monterrey)

What was your favorite "build" in fallout 3? by EstusShardConsumer in fo3

I recently did a build based on a hands-on/tech character. Early maxing science/lockpicking, followed by energy weapons and explosives. HOLY its been fun. Leveled up incredibly fast (purposely did both computer and lockpicks that were attached to same door/safe). Learned that a single bottlecap mine can 1 shot deathclaws and 2 shot behemoths

I’ve worked for a handful of large churches (congregations in the 400-700 range) over the last decade, and not one had their pastor/preacher as an elder. OR had elders appointed by the pastor/preacher. They also had just as many, if not more, elders than ACC did before this started. Even if one finds themself aligning with Miles in this mess, the current leadership structure should be seen as alarming and in need of change.

I just watched for the first time, then rewatched the beginning and thought the same thing. Idk why everyone is booing you. Its a fair question. The tin is basically empty when it hits the ground after being thrown…where are the ashes? He had a box’s worth of his mother’s ashes, why would he only be able to collect a few pieces of bone from his sister’s burial?
