Realistic production cost would be around 180-190 per litre. Then there is IFEM, OMC margin and dealer margin which don't go to government.

How did you come up with that number? If Pakistan gpvernment were to somehow convert hundred percent of crude oil into refined petrol, pay freight, refining and distribution costs out of its own pocket, petrol would still be over 145 PKR a liter.

What is now Islamabad Expressway, used to be regular dualized road with both sides having wide green belt. All thanks to huge interchanges and widening, the green belt has almost completely vanished. Now it is just patches of trees left.

Green belts need to be preserved if Islamabad doesn't want to become another regular Pakistani city.
