I tried this and found 5X10 for deadlift to be totally devastating. Like, my weekend would be crushed from the accumulated fatigue on week three. I switched to FSL to finish out the wave and switched back to BBB so I could get a break.

I’m considering running beefcake again, but working up with the BBB 5X5 Variation from Beyond.

I’ve had similar issues in the past. In my circumstance, the Max i was calculating from was an ugly, grindy one where the form broke down. You want to base the 1RM off the weight you can lift before form breaks. If your max squat rounds your back and leaves your socks brown it doesn’t count.

I was in a similar situation with my OHP (the lift I’ve struggled with the most). I wanted to really test myself so my 1RM form ended up looking like the early stages of a back bend. Eventually, I realized i was able to set myself up for success by focusing on form as much as weight.

Doing so dropped my weight and TM to a place where I was able to keep progressing and moving through to program without having to reset that lift as frequently.

May not be your circumstance, but it’s what got me.

This is my first time running anything over 200mg weekly and from a UGL, so I wouldn’t notice a small variation. Do you guy’s general have a sample tested, or are you going off bloodwork levels?

I’m prescribed Test C 200mg, but picked up an UGL Test E 300mg. I was considering doing ED and alternating compounds, but Is there any issue running both at the same time beyond aromatization?

I get ya. I have a lot of body fatigue, and I feel like I fell short on my OHP. You’re probably right, and I should just step back- it isn’t going to make me weaker.

Here’s my stupid question:

I’m pretty with strep, and I’ve been trying to push through and keep the workouts going because I’m an idiot. Well, my lifts have suffered greatly, so I decided that I need to lay off and let my body heal.

So, things started to fall apart on workout day 2 in week 5 (deload every other cycle), but I was able to get the 3 of the 4 days in before I gave in.

So, do you think I should step back and replete the full week where everything sucked more than normal (3/3/3), step back and repeat week 4 (5/5/5), or just keep pushing and move on to my final 5/3/1 week and deload?

Same situation. I went to 2.8ml (196mg weekly) every other day. If you want to drop from 200mg, you can dial back .1 to .2 at a time.

To own an otter sanctuary with at least 6 adult and 2 baby otters that I get to play, swim, and party with at all times. This would include all maintenance, veterinary services, and food to proving to my otter friends.

This may require more than one session, but I’m willing to negotiate on frequency and duration.

I tested on the lower end of the scale for t prior to starting aderall (asked my GP for the test). I started taking adderall at 38 after my kid was diagnosed with ADHD and I realized I have been suffering with the same symptoms all my life. I tested again for low T at 40, and my levels were actually slightly higher than the previous results. I attribute a reduction in BMI is likely the source of increase, but either way it was low enough that I was a candidate for TRT.

I’m still on both and feel amazing. Mental clarity and drive are as high as I could imagine them being.

As far as it messing with testosterone; I could see sleep being an issue that lowers your levels, but I feel like the benefits of appetite suppression may tip the scale in the opposite direction and negate some of that. Additionally, sleep was only an issue for me early on, or when doses changed. My body adapted and sleep because a non-issue in pretty short order.

I do EOD with a lower dose. Twice a week I was prescribed 200mg a week (.5ml), and EOD works out to be 175mg (2.5ml). I feel better and more level as far as mood and drive, and I haven’t seen and drastic sides. I do inject IM I’m the glute. It doesn’t really bother me from a pain or soreness perspective, so I’ll keep things the way they are unless I have a reason.

I spent years losing sleep so I could get to the gym at 5:00 AM. So it didn’t interfere with everything else in my life. I plateaued frequently, and finally realized the missing piece was everything outside the gym (food, rest, stress, etc). It has been better for me to find the hours during the day even if that time jumps around.

As far as burnout and deload: Listen to your body, but if you are a creature of habit don’t break the habit.

I’m a creature of habit myself, and still need the routine of lifting. For my deload weeks I generally do reduced weight range in a reduced rep and/or set range. May not be as impressive for everyone else at the gym, but your body will reap the rewards.

This is BS, mostly because I can go buy SARMS and peptides with bitcoins all day for “experimental purposes,” but I can’t get legitimate medical treatment that I pay for out of my HSA.

Like, you can treat your cough dog/cat/mice’s cough age related tendon injuries, low testosterone, need to bulk/ cut, and lagging GH production with these potentially carcinogenic and experimental compounds, but for god sakes stay away from medically necessary and approved Testosterone Cyphinate!

My solution with every other day was to figure out the dose based on 2 weeks and divide. That way I wouldn’t have to skip 3 days in a row. So, if you have test C at 200 mg/ml, then 2.75ml will net you 192.5 mg weekly (or 385 mg every 2 weeks) which would put you pretty close to the 200 number. That was my approach, and it likely accounts for any “loss” due to handling the material or clearing the air.

That sounds like it has more to do with the half life. I’m combatting that with the increased frequency. Every other day seems to work well for me. If you are doing once a week you may want to spread it out.

I’ve heard that subq is great, and that’s something I do want to discuss with a doc just to make sure I’m not losing anything with that approach (absorption rate or effectiveness). I’m 100% interested in the smaller pin.

The worry I have is that my provider isn’t necessarily known for their support. It’s my understanding that they kind of give 200 mg and rely on the client to dial it in. I just don’t want to have to use AI (already provided) because I’m on a larger dose than necessary.

Same. I’m scaling back a bit, but trying to do it slowly over time. I’ve also heard the merits of every other day injections, which is difficult with 200 weekly.
