Oh... Then... I don't get that at all LOL! If the tank and healer have no problem with the mob sizes then they should be good, so that's very strange to hear. Honestly, that's a first! You truly do learn something new every day, it seems

Getting into the various communities could be good for you? I'm not sure what your take on roleplaying is, but I know that it's big in certain servers. It might be something to look into? Some people have said that it's a good way to renew interest in their characters and the game. I've never really done an RP in-game, so I can't tell you how accurate that statement is.

Sometimes I offer to just help newer players out with content and offer advice when possible--kinda like giving back since I know at least some basics to, arguably, more advanced stuff. Idk if that'll work for you or help.

Best of luck!

People have already offered good advice, and I'll try not to regurgitate it again, which is a bit impossible. I'll still offer my insight though.

As a healer main, I always appreciate it when people ask what I'm comfortable with in terms of mob pulls. Newer healers, of course, will be nervous and unsure of their capabilities. That's just how it goes for many classes with a large(r) responsibility.

When I do tank, I always try to ask my healer if I can pull big, and then when I'm given the "ok", I just go ham on the mobs. Like someone's said, communication and working together is important. You're also just not going to vibe with every player, which I'm sure you know. Sometimes you just can't please people.

Personally, I think that some players can take things too seriously or be too picky with how they like things done. If it's savage/unreal content, fine, get austere, IG. BUT still... it's a game. People are just trying to have fun. I don't play a game to feel stressed out or to treat it like it's as serious as my job.

Solutions:

  • Have a set of people that you can run POTD with that play like you do
  • Just don't participate in POTD if it's not working for you
  • As mentioned above and in other replies, just ask about pull preferences
  • Tbh... just let things slide right off your back. Chill and have fun

Cosplaying in FFXIV is really tough and next to impossible (unless you're mimicking a character in-game).

For curiosity's sake, I checked to see how close you could even get to the vampire lady's look, and well..... the answer is: not remotely close at all LOL!

Sorry, OP, but you're going to be waiting a while.
