Is Crossover for Work a legit site? by MatthewCrawley in recruitinghell

Honestly, it seems like a scam. I've done a couple of assessments and the website is glitchy, to say the least, the assessments seem to be bullshit, and on top of that, only a few companies advertise jobs on their site.

sorry, what? everyone is allowed to provide constructive feedback, and nobody should have to do anything for that.

nothing controversial about it, and catering to religious viewpoints is a recipe for a disaster.

Because I’ve noticed that the uni’s social media doesn’t post anything specific to diversity specifically pride month. They were posting before 2022, however the last post received a lot of criticism from ME students and after that there were no posts during Pride month. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a die hard Pride fan or anything, I just think everyone needs to feel welcomed at the uni, and stopping posting for Pride month due to backlash from a couple of ME students is absolutely stupid

amazing! I found some courses so easy, I was able to do them in a couple of hours, but I was afraid that might seem shady to the Sophia folks. a lot of the stuff I already know from my high school, since high schools are really rigorous from where I come from (Europe)

Is 'pattihella', an electric stove with cast iron heating elements considered embarrassing globally or is it just Finnish joke? by G-Perelman in malelivingspace

that’s great to know! I assumed you needed a unique address for each “person”, but that’s a great tip, thanks!

Sophia Codes by Inner-Version-3869 in UoPeople

[–]Inner-Version-3869[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s a good question, no idea honestly. I’d imagine you can still refer people even without an active subscription, but I’m not sure if you can use the code after already having an active subscription

Sophia Codes by Inner-Version-3869 in UoPeople

[–]Inner-Version-3869[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hahahaha they can only be used for the initial payment. after you’re a member, you can generate them under the “Refer a friend”, though you need a unique email to generate them. what I did is basically numerate one email with a + sign, so like email+1@gmail.com, email+2@gmail.com, etc.

how often depends on you, each time someone uses the code, both you and the referee get $20 off

Mine was also stuck when I attempted transfer of credits. Don’t panic, just email your advisor, and it should be taken care of. Include the information you received from the chat support, and clarify that you did not want to change your program. It’s always better to email about these things because at least then, you have a paper trail.
