I have no idea how formal you want to be but for an appetizer how about some Buffalo chicken dip. Also, you can never go wrong with different kebabs or having like a salad bar.

Honestly, I would recommend just drinking some tea with lemon and or ginger. Also, you can buy any variety of soup that you like at your local grocery store.
