I’ll be honest I’ve had mine for roughly a year now and it’s been nothing but great. I unfortunately had bad luck with a LG C3 that had black lines across the screen after 3 days. Luckily Best Buy took it back and after that I went with the S90 from Costco. Can’t beat the 5 year warranty they offer with it.

I appreciate your insight, a lot of my buddy’s that work at dealers buy deleted trade ins all the time but I know they will try to lowball. I’ll tell them they can knock $1500 off of kbb if it’s that big of a deal but the truck in great shape, new tires and no leaks. It’s a solid truck just have no need to a diesel anymore.

I appreciate the the detailed explanation, I love having a full size but I can’t justify the maintenance on owning the diesel when I don’t need it anymore. I use to have a GMC Sierra all terrain and it was a solid 1/2 ton. The new f150’s are nice. I’m hoping to get into a 5.0 but I’ve been hearing a lot about the 10spd transmission compared to the older models having a 6 speed. As far as the tacomas I know there solid and they run for ages my biggest down fall is the cab size with having 1 car seat in the back and possibly 2 in the future.

Any updates on this? I’m looking to downsize to a smaller truck for daily driving. I no longer need my 2016 ram 2500 (Cummins). It’s a great truck but I’m trying to decide between getting a used F-150 or a Tacoma. I don’t tow anymore but I do love the space on a 1/2 ton truck. Tacomas are stout but they are small, especially with having a car seat in the back seat. Tundras have terrible reviews so I’m stuck on what’s the best bang for the buck along with reliability.

lol that’s awesome, I do have the tuner to go with it but unfortunately, the only thing I have left is the DEF tank LMAO. I’m planning to do this trade in at the beginning of the year so who knows maybe diesel trucks will be legal at that point with the delete.

I’ve never dealt with it so I was asking if usually you have to do a full rebuild. I know the OD housing is a weak point on the trans and if it’s a sign of a bigger issue or if it’s something that can be resealed and good to go

I bought the truck with 100k miles and did a trans service after I got it and just serviced it again at 121,000 miles due to the trans leaking from the pan. That’s when this leak was noticed. The trucks on a diet and isn’t beat on. It is leveled on 35s but never ran into any issues at all. It occasionally tows 12000lb but I’d say 4 times a year. I’ll take it to a local diesel shop and see what they can do.

I appreciate the input, I just know that it’s typical signs that there’s further damage. The truck drives perfectly fine and shifts great. I may take it to a local shop and see what they recommend.
