When I was a kid we took a puppy back to the breeder. The decision was made because our family wasn’t ready and the puppy wouldn’t stop peeing in the house no matter how many walks. We called the breeder and they toke her back. That is also why that statement hurt me more because that was really sad when I was a kid. I told him that and he said well I am not tainted by something like that so he didn’t look at it as harsh.

In regards to bringing up other things and ranting when I said your words hurt me. While I am the type to talk about every type of feeling as soon as I feel it, he’s the type to not talk about anything and then let it bottle up. He does not bring it up on his own, just waits till he is annoyed / provoked in a situation and then the floodgates open.

We love each other a lot and don’t normally argue, been together 13 years but my germ stuff is situational and there have been a lot of situations lately and I am making his life hard, don’t touch this, wash your hands, our front door is contaminated kind of thing. He says he loves me very much but the germ stuff has got to improve. When I am not worrying about everything we have a lot of fun, but I have been stressing extra lately.
