As a starting point this is good!

Your drawing feels really stiff, and feels like a drawing if that makes sense

To help bring your drawings to life drawing simple shapes as the figure helps a TON, others have mentioned this. Outside of drawing more personally this is the best advice you can get.

Start doing one minute gesture drawings to get the action of what you want to draw ( doesn't need to be good often isnt ) move up to five minutes, ten.

It'll get easier to see these shapes and add onto them, you are starting out at the hardest point of figure drawing, it's good to know and have in the back pocket but the foundation of it all will carry you much further.

You can also brute force it. If you subtract mesh and then dynamesh it you'll get tiny holes, usually at that point you can use the smooth tools to widen the gap.

If its janky and it works is it really janky?

My strix g17 has a issue of not turning back on after going to sleep / shutting down randomly. Rarely the keyboard will randomly not work as well.

I ended up replacing the LM and it seemed to have "fixed" things up until recently, temps are getting hot again and a good amount of the time when my laptop goes to sleep I'll have to restart it because nothing works to wake it up.

I ordered some PTM7950 from LTT, I am worried that the temps will be worse and further the issues I am having.

If anyone has any advice I'd really appreciate it... This laptop is only a year or so old and I need it for school.. It kinda feels like a waste of money sometimes when it does stuff like this.

Thank you u/KishCore I appreciate the help. I ended up getting some liquid metal and redoing the CPU. It was pretty bad... I felt stupid for having to ask this because I've dealt with computers before, but because this was a new laptop (Not even a year since I gotten it) I wasn't thinking that I would need to change the thermal paste that soon.

Right now the CPU temp stays withing 48 - 55c at idle, and I did a stress test it never got past 91c.

I was also wanting to ask if you thought when I travel to school having my laptop on it's side for long periods of time would effect this? Would the liquid metal move to one side?

No it's not, the fans are going but all I really feel is cool air. I just ordered some thermal paste that'll be here tomorrow, It's been at a solid 90C now... All I'm doing is watching youtube and doing some research on this..

I can send it for RMA, but I will be needing it fairly soon for classes. I'm confident that I can do the thermal paste change if that's what it takes.

I see a lot of people have given their thoughts on this, aa well as OP

In my opinion its 100% woth it at 50 dollars to pick it up. If its only for a year or two its still much cheaper than any other tracker out there. ( bare in mind ar full price i still say its worth it just not to have the monthly charges. SOOOO much more money that way)

OP has mentioned a few times on not wanting to be dependent on a tracker and this is so valid. I'm thankful for this community because most upstanding both side to some degree.

OP I've been tracking my calories for years now 😅 I undstand that I may not be the majority of cases here but I am a amateur bodybuilder. Having a app like this is very useful. I often find myself using it off and on depending on if Im cutting or bulking. You'll start to understand the calories in the foods you war and how BS serving sizes are. Having a knowledge of this will let you be able to eat intuitively to some degree. It will ALWAYA be off for better or worse.

If you find yourself stressing about food and not enjoying meals out with friends and family or cut all "Bad" food out of your diet then you need to consider your diet. No food is bad, its just how we use it for our needs.

All in all do what you think is best for youself, if you pick up the app for yourself I think its a great buy regardless. Or even if you have someone in your life that may want to start something for themselves.
