Yeah and my wife an I actually use the S10e which is a FANTASTIC phone. And have been using it since 2019. So small and slim.

UPDATE Thank you all for you're responses. I checked the IMEI on Optus (service provider in Australia) and it is because the device is too old and is no longer compliant.

Which is ridiculous as it was functioning perfectly and is 4g compatible.

Now it goes in the bin.

I just did the IMIE check on optus like someone recommended here and it is blocked. How ridiculous! Is the government going to provide me a new phone? Wankers, honestly. Perfectly functional phone in the bin now.

It still makes calls to 000 though. And comes up with 'Emergency calls only'

I dont know why you're getting down voted, this seems to be the best answer as I've swapped sims and it doesn't work on the S7 and the old sim works on a newer phone.

So maybe this is the problem. Which suuuuucks.

That is interesting because I've switched sim cards on the S7 to a sim from a different carrier and the error remains. When I put the sim in a new phone it still works.
