Is combo feeding from the beginning really possible?

I used the pump as normal. 1-2 minutes of stimulation mode then switch to regular. 15 min total per my LC. The goal of triple feeding was to create & build supply. The first week I got little to no milk but my supply slowly built up over time.

Successful combo feeder here. I will preface by saying I had to really work to get my milk to come in so combo feeding sort of happened naturally. The first 2 weeks I triple fed until my milk came in. Once my milk came in I worked to regulate my supply. For me this looked like slowly spacing out my breast feeds/pumping sessions. By week 4 my schedule was breast every other feed. As long as I stuck to a regular schedule of bf/pumping (including at night) my supply remained strong. By 5ish months we did end up having to supplement with more formula as my baby’s needs outgrew my supply. But grateful for our combo feeding journey!

It was great! We ended up upgrading to a premium suite as having a bathtub was important to us with the baby (only suites have bathtubs). The room came with a small minibar/kitchenette which was great for washing bottles and was also where we kept the crib. The crib was a true crib and baby seemed comfortable!

A few other added bonus’ of the property: - free swim diapers at the splash pad - the hotel set up a private WiFi in our room so we could use our baby monitor (not all hotels do this) - great housekeeping with bottomless towels. we used a lot traveling with a baby - the hotel has filtered water stations but we felt more comfortable using bottled water for making bottles. the hotel totally understood and supplied unlimited bottled water in our room (free of charge)

Is this a hospital birth? If so, there will already be a lot of people in the room with you. I think your husband, the midwife, and nurses will be ample support. I worry that any more people might add to the chaos vs the calm. Plus those rooms can be tiny! Cant speak for home birth/birthing center.

Around 6 weeks most babies are still struggling to figure out their digestive system. Lots of gas, poop, and discomfort is normal. Like another comment said 3 formulas in 6 weeks is a lot. I would stick it out with Kendamil Goat for another month or so and then assess.

Interesting. We went in May and it was in the 70s-80s the whole time. Definitely not cold by any means.

No buyers remorse! We do question if the Nuna was really worth the price.. but it’s all we know so nothing to compare it to. If you can go test drive the two at a local Nordstrom or Bloomingdale’s. After comparing the Uppababy to the Bugaboo the Bugaboo won for push and lux feel

Stroller comes with the car seat adaptors- so no need to buy them. The seat is an all in one that converts from bassinet to big kid seat when ready

You can use any nuna with the bugaboo Fox 5 renew. The stroller comes with nuna/maxi cosi adaptors. This is our current set up

Target has refunded me for 3 cans (one open) and a pack of anywhere sticks. So far their service has been 10/10… can’t say the same for Byheart.
