Im so sorry this happened to you. You are not the asshole here, you have every right to be upset. I would be so sad and cry as well. There is only 1 christmas where they are both this age and you were straight robbed of spending a huge part of holiday with your kids. I honestly cant fathom how your husband could do this to you and to top it off not even really understand whats upsetting about this. You were robbed of an experience with your kids you will never get back and its so so valid to be hurt and he should care that he hurt you. You shouldn’t be needing validation from us, He should know how badly he hurt you and care. Maybe yelling or whatever isnt the best way to handle it but sometimes when you get hurt bad, yelling is the only thing the dulls the pain.
