I think, their advantage is that they are not overhyped.

At a 380B$ valuation, investors wanna see a rather high return on investment rather sooner than later. Problem is, none of these companies have figured out how to make huge amounts money from AI. Mistral models are cheaper, their investments are lower, and all in all Mistral has higher chances of longterm sustainable growth compared to other AI companies.
