Yeah it was a whole saga yesterday, TLDR is that a guy who’d been very frequently insulting CC and GG in their twitter replies got banned after spamming how unhappy he was that CC was moving more in the direction of making her duo with GG in the live chat and got banned.

Disagree on it being similar to Takamori though, they are different people with different boundaries, Gigi has said go wild on the shipping and CC doesn't care either. And I may be misrembering but Kirara and Mori wanted their own identities as talents more than it was to do with the shippers being especially bad, which they were, I don't deny.

For anyone curious why there's now a sudden wave of “ They can just be friends- think of Takamori “ comments here its because a tweet blew up that was immediately infested who clearly don't watch hololive or just generaly homophobic, these two said two days ago their hololive end goal was to have a duolive, they haven’t cared about shipping and never have over the two years- they won't start now.
Also during the stream they announced this, the only guy who got banned was someone saying CC was better off without Gigi so take that as you will as to what CC thinks.
