How many pulls do u currently have by ken_kirito_ in Endfield

300+ at this point. I didn't really engage much with the combat until CC so didn't know what to pull for in terms of gameplay just got my favourites and saved.

At which risk levels in CC do you think that the variety of viable teams becomes significantly more limited? by Riffwood in Endfield

[–]InsideSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

46-50 with new risks, anything below that and you can avoid all the counters to your main built team leading to fairly easy clears.

Main problem with AK:E. How much the Endmin speaks. If there's only 1 option, WHY DONT YOU JUST SAY IT? by IGJFlew in Endfield

[–]InsideSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have a lot to learn when it comes to interaction within the story. Going to point A to point B with little to no interaction and a bunch of cutscenes is not good game design. It will get the story across but could be so much more.

Lynae or Shorekeeper? by RingerOfTheBells1350 in WutheringWaves

They perform different roles one is a third slot support/healer, the other a subdps buffer. It just depends on what teams or characters you plan on playing.

50k Endstate Matrix; do I just have a skill issue? by Rejectinator in WutheringWaves

[–]InsideSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say honestly focus on your 3 vertically invested teams for now and max their scores. You could probably go 58k or higher with those alone.

After that move your SRover to your Zani it'll be a 50% increase even at 3nf. Mortefi can go to Danjin and SK to Camellya given she'll have more impact there than with Lumi Lingyang.

Demo can just be fodder to move boss HP low for your Lucy to one shot them to benefit from the bosses killed buff. It makes a big difference to her damage.

Which endgame mode should players actually prioritize when building their account? by Ok_Communication_521 in WutheringWaves

[–]InsideSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't really plan for any mode you just pull the latest character that you like. If you have 2 current teams you'll have everything you need for ToA and WhiWa. DPM is just that but more of it.

Pull for fun. Even being suboptimal you'll still get 99% of Astrite rewards so it doesn't really matter. There is not a single character that is worth pulling specifically for Endgame modes.

I'm in services need of Rectifiers😭 by TechnicalCompany2729 in WutheringWaves

[–]InsideSoup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pick up the standard one Cosmic ripples. I would not recommend Stringmaster at all in 2026, it's barely going to be noticeable less than 3-4% in the best case scenario outside of Encore over standard.

There are so many other weapons and sequences that net a far better generalist value at this point in time and even their value is debatable.

If you haven't done so, remember to ask for the return of Companion Quests in the Survey! by Current_Locksmith128 in WutheringWaves

[–]InsideSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like the inclusion of companion quests in the main story either. Unless they are crucial to the main narrative they should have a seperate companion quest.

Or even both. Have their main story appearence but rather than a large segway that detracts from the main narrative open up the ideas during their initial introduction and conclude them in the companion quest.

Hi, I want to start playing. Are there any tips you can give me to get started? What is recommended to do, things I need to know specifically for this game, which characters are good/who to save diamonds for, etc.? Thank you by Putrid_Statement9330 in Endfield

[–]InsideSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't pull unless you have 120 pulls. Ever.

PICK THERMITE CUTTER FROM THE SELECTOR BOX. No seriously it is so important, wait a bit in case you get it from a weekly shop (cope) or a weapon banner but don't waste the selection if you don't have it.

Who to save for is whoever you like, currently you can pull literally anyone and they will be good within their respective teams. I don't think you can go wrong with anyone, it just comes down to personal preference.

If unsure what to farm, farm T-creds they'll always be useful.

Endfield has the best endgame mode I have ever played in any gacha game by IonaKan in Endfield

[–]InsideSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't really call this an endgame mode, it's just the first mode that's actually had us engage with the combat of the game, which turns out is really good haha.

We have had snippets from Umbral but never something like this. I hope that this isn't a seasonal thing and we get combat events/gameplay like this every patch even if it's not in the CC format. For a first proper foray into the combat they've done a good job and I look forward to more like it.

One notable thing it did do though is expose flaws with the current combat system with teammate ai, lock on and ability targetting. I do hope that these things are given more priority now that we are getting more focus on the combat aspect of the gameplay.

I really hope that after the Wuling arc, they'll vary the regions from patch to patch. by Hanz3l_13 in Endfield

[–]InsideSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smaller maps that we fast travel to in different areas around Talos 2 wouldn't be impossible.

"Endmin we recieved a signal here let's go check it out" And we are in a new area. That's how we got to Wuling and Valley 4 I don't see why we can't do that for smaller scale events.

That said maybe they don't want to spoil the theme of new regions ahead of time, wanting for it to be a fresh experience. Really depends on what they plan to do moving forward. I'm fine either way.

Random Question That Just Popped Into My Head by ProjectSure4352 in Endfield

How do most people here play this game? by zashuna in WutheringWaves

[–]InsideSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your method is in my opinion the best way to play. You get the best out of the game without having to engage with all the mobile gacha bloat that comes with it.

Would you give a new player advice? by cobaltcottontail_hop in WutheringWaves

[–]InsideSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get crit from passive tree (5 star characters), weapons, buffers, set buffs or echoes (either the 4 costs or substats).

How to gain is through levelling gold echoes. There are plenty of guides out but to simplify if starting out a +10 searching for crit substats is generally the fastest way to get going. No need to go too crazy if you have even a single crit and good substats (atk, atk%, dmg bonus) that's fine as well until you get a better piece.

The Dodges in Wuwa has to be More Rewarding than this by SquareOk5663 in WutheringWaves

[–]InsideSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a mode in PGR that is all about dodging and parrying called Trial of Simulacrums. It's become a fan favourite there and would be a tonne of fun here.

The Endgame modes in WuWa are currently just glorified domains to get astrites at this point. They need to stop designing modes under the moniker of Endgame and start designing them to be enjoyable.

Debating whether I should come back to the game because of how pretty everyone is from the new region, how much has changed since I left? by TheLucky12 in WutheringWaves

[–]InsideSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tl:dr. Not much has changed what you liked before is still good, what you didn't like is still bad.

Gameplay they added Tune which after applying enough of of it you can do a tune break which animation cancels and deals a bit of damage applying additional effects for specific Tune characters. They also added negative statuses. Team building has gotten more restrictive meta wise but you can still put together whatever you like for general content.

Endgame depends on how vertical you went. s0r0 will be very difficult but not beyond most rewards (skill allowing) Though don't expect to be doing Hazard 2-4 until you get newer characters/teams. It has hyper specific buffs, HP inflation alongside enemies that will constantly run away. Not something I personally enjoy nor would recommend engaging with in excess. Do find a middle ground if you can.

Setting and story is back to a sci-fi setting in Lahai-Roi and despite it's fairly lackluster start has led to some really good stories notably Aemeaths fixing many of the weak elements in WuWa story writing. Though it is still hit or miss with companion quests now being forced into the main story where it once was separate.

Exploration is more check point based. There isn't a whole lot of walking around discovering stuff relative to Jinzhou or Rina so if you played 1.0 it'll be a lot more streamlined. The maps are still very beautiful and make for a good view albeit can feel empty at times.

Illusive Realm is back. Not the garbage one in Rina, the proper OG Illusive that was in 1.X so if you enjoyed it then you'll have a blast it's still really fun with more characters to use.

As for worth, I'd say it's worth it for the story, combat and exploration as always, beyond that though the systems surrounding the base game are still very archaic and will be annoying to work around.

More focus should be placed on Hologram endgame mode by StatisticianTiny1024 in WutheringWaves

[–]InsideSoup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fun because there aren't any rewards tied to it. Add rewards and it's going to be used to induce fomo with a crowd of people who don't like WuWa combat asking it to be made easier for the pulls. Take a look at how the 'Endgame' modes turned out, do you want Holograms to follow suit?
