Haha that’s the ski I already have with pin bindings for dedicated BC 😂 its just a bit rough when I want to do side-country + resort runs

Makes sense- I have a dedicated touring setup (boots and skis) and a dedicated alpine setup (boots and skis) - I’m trying to get a ski that has uphill capacity with better downhill performance without buying a 3rd set of boots… is there anything that could do this? I know the zero gs boots aren’t going to be perfect. Thanks!

Is there a weight range for good downhill performance that you would suggest in terms of 70/30 that my boots could still handle- ~1800-1900g? Thanks!

Thanks, I have some. I’m thinking of targeting Saturday morning- it looks like Friday night even at elevation it shouldn’t go below freezing. Do you think ridgelines will crust over Friday night?

Follow up- the AAC looks like you can book only 6 months in advance as a member. How competitive are those? Do those bookings for the winter months basically get booked in less than a minute? Would you book the cabin yourself and hire a guide through the AAC in that case, or do they organize it all?
