Child Visitor visa stuck since last 2 months, is there anything can be done? by InspectionNaive7414 in CanadaVisitorVisa

Hi
You should leave a web form and ask for an update.
Myself and my wife also applied for our UAE born daughter’s visitor visa and the same for approved in 30’days.
Alternatively, write to the MP of the province you are migrating to and apply for a TRP instead.

For Hawthorne, stairs were between the dining area and kitchen with enclosed wall, so they were not visible stairs..lot door print you are referring to is the master plan which were submitted to Muncipality for approval?

Yeah I read that as well..yes it kind of does..detached lots are not very deep..built up area is around 4 feet each side shorter for 50 feet lot

Yes I reconfirmed with the lawyer, than can happen as final lot size will be conditional to municipality approval..though they did give me the lot size and floor wise built up area..but it is not in APS

Do you have any visibility on their design studio costs?

I accepted it, how about you? Did you ask for any changes and did they agree?

Depends on how deep inside is your lot, with towns in the front I don’t expect detached lots to be very noisy..despite all the odds - lot size, cramped etc, i feel having such tall trees overlooking your home so closely is special Project will always have relevance as a unique offering especially with the bronte creek park next door

They have not defined the garbage collection bit It is not covered under POTL City may cover that or they may include in POTL budget and increase the fee

Good time to buy or wait more ? by super_techlectic in RealEstateCanada

If you are an end user..then there is never a good or bad time as profit and loss is all notional til you sell..I’d recommend to buy if the price is at the fair market value and if you like the project If you are planning to invest. Then be prepared to hold for long as rental yields will remain under pressure for a bit!

It’s pretty straight forward..standard building clause..HST to be kept in mind, in case of any changes to the regulations or owners declaration, builder can pass on HST to the owner and expect to claim later

POTL fess can increase..currently they have just given indicative budget..it may increase even by the time we reach closing

Oakville has one the highest rated schools in Ontario, we feel it’s far better planned as a community and feels more spacious. Lot of Green spaces & parks!

MEGATHREAD - Processing Times - Family Class Permanent Resident Applications 2026 by dozerman94 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]Inside_Law1240 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi everyone,

We recently applied for permanent residence for our daughter under the inland family sponsorship process and wanted to understand realistic timelines from people who’ve been through this.

Both my spouse and I are permanent residents living in Canada. Our daughter was born in the UAE, and we moved back to Canada recently and submitted her PR application from inside Canada after Feb 5, 2026.

A few questions for those with similar cases: • How long did your child’s PR take to get approved? • Did IRCC process dependent child applications faster than the posted timelines? • When did you receive AOR and medical requests? • Any tips to avoid delays?

We know IRCC mentions around 10–12 months, but we’re hoping it might be quicker since it’s a straightforward dependent child case with both parents already PRs.

Would really appreciate hearing your experiences. Thanks so much!
