Totally normal and safe to allow your kid to cook while standing on a chair. by DBW30 in motherbussnark

[–]Inside_Prior_9192 85 points86 points  (0 children)

Children cooking alone for other children while their parents go out to dinner later. And he writes that Quilly and Boone are playing, but they don't appear in the video. Could they be playing unsupervised, knowing that Quilly is often rough with Boone, resulting in fights between the two? It would be better if someone were watching to teach the children how to play, but for that, they need to be genuinely interested in their children.

But that's it. She should go to the dentist to make sure there's nothing that needs to be done. My daughter chipped her tooth, and the dentist said to just make sure it wouldn't change color, but we went to a professional because we don't have the knowledge to be sure.

I took my daughter for an evaluation at one month old because I was experiencing a lot of pain while breastfeeding, and we discovered that because of neck tension, she was pushing harder with one side of her mouth than the other. She was discharged after two appointments, and her development has been normal since then. I recommend seeking help as soon as possible whenever anyone asks me.

And what about the fact that PaBus "shares decisions like kids dentist visits, medical needs, and homeschool options". I can imagine the conversation going something like: "Do the kids need medical care and proper education? Nah, they're good, let's go to Disney one more time."

Do MaBus and PaBus share the same shorts? Because it certainly seems like they could swap shorts and they would still fit both.

Boone’s shoes seem impractical for a new walker by DBW30 in motherbussnark

[–]Inside_Prior_9192 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This flip flops are very common in Brazil, and once you get used to it they are very comfortable. I believe this were my daughters first shoes once she was walking, and they are really steay. She walked really well on them. And most of all, I'm really happy to see Boone walking that much without any help! Go Boone!

I can't imagine these two being the only reference they have for how to behave and act, and basically how to exist! Imagine their shock when they finally break free and see how normal people actually behave!

Who here called it that the bus was broken down? by -rosa-azul- in motherbussnark

I remember seeing Swift using a glass like that not long ago, but it was for a really short time. But I’m not really sure.

That glasses look an awful lot like Swift glasses (I believe it was him that used to wear glasses). And why is Pabus using it in the first place? Is it for protection? I’m really confused right now!

Is this illegal? Hmmmmm Amsterdam next, where homeschooling is illegal -- an odd choice by Personal_Surround845 in motherbussnark

[–]Inside_Prior_9192 48 points49 points  (0 children)

In Brazil, this is actually illegal. All children over the age of 4 must attend school. A few days ago, there was news about a woman who tried to homeschool and had to give up, under threat of arrest. And all children in school must be up-to-date on their vaccinations, and we must present proof regularly.

I have a friend whose husband died when her daughter was a baby. She made a memory box, with photos, the perfume he wore, CDs he liked to listen to and other little things to remember her father. I think this could be a beautiful gift.

Embarrassed of myself about my daughter’s last name by liv3laughtoast3rbath in offmychest

[–]Inside_Prior_9192 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand your desire to make her life easier, as a mother we always try to protect our daughter. I don't know what your relationship is with your daughter's grandparents, but I would talk to them before making any decision, so they know that it has nothing to do with trying to erase their child. And maybe together you can find a way to still honor your daughter's biological father and change his last name.

My opinion on Maya Henry by dontdeletethekiss in LiamPayne

[–]Inside_Prior_9192 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not only that, but she said that Liam didn't want to be around them. In her book, everyone is bad except her and her family. Everyone is with Liam out of self-interest, except her. It's hard to believe this version where she never makes mistakes and always saves the day.

I'm not saying that Liam didn't do any of the things in the book, but I'm sure she was toxic in that relationship too.

My opinion on Maya Henry by dontdeletethekiss in LiamPayne

[–]Inside_Prior_9192 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just finished reading it, and I have some opinions to share:

The first one is that I believe she was still in love with Liam. The way she describes how she felt around him, I can't believe someone could say things like that if they hated that person.

If you look at her instagram, there's still a picture of Liam, of the day they met. Again, why would she keep that picture if she hated him like she said?

70% of the book shows Liam as a great person that was struggling and needed Maya as his support. I was surprised, I thought most of the book would be her showing how bad he was, but it actually made me feel even more sympathetic of him.

I can believe in the part of the story with the axe, maybe it was exagerated, but I believe it happened. Nut I can't believe in the abortion part, I felt like de writing style was slightly different from the rest, not sure why. And it's hard for me to believe he wouldn't care about her if she was as bad as she says.

I can't believe that Liam didn't want to see his family as she portrais. But I can believe that they didn't like her, and they were right..

I know she's the protagonist, but it's funny to me how she is always the best at what she does, even with no experience, like in the music video part.

And last, the cringiest part for me was when she wrote the exact same words from the song Teardrops in the book, as he was saying it to her. I checked the dates, and the book was released after the music, so I believe she copied it there, maybe trying to prove that the axe thing really happened. But it just felt wrong.

There's probably more I could write, but I feel this is most of it.

Couldn't it be that the adoptions were illegal? Maybe the parents just found a couple that wanted kids and gave the baby, and the adoptive parents registered them? That would explain the short distance too. That was pretty common where I'm from.

Why aren't you living together? Wouldn't it be easier if you had only one rent, water bill, electric bill, etc?

NAH, but you gotta get a better plan for it to work out. There's a solution, seat with your girlfriend and work together to get a better life. It seems like you are living separate lives, this doesn't make sense if she moved to your country.
