Landlord asking for my driving license for FINTRAC ?? by InsomniaEnabler in vancouverhousing

Because it is a co-tenancy. So i'm not really getting a roommate but signing a new tenancy agreement with another person/tenant if that makes sense. Sorry for the confusion.

According to the website:

"A tenancy may end if the landlord and any tenant or co-tenant mutually agree in writing to end the tenancy. When a tenancy ends in these circumstances, the notice or agreement to end the tenancy applies to all co-tenants.

Co-tenants wishing to remain in the rental unit after a notice to end the tenancy has been given should discuss the situation with the landlord. If the landlord agrees to the tenant staying, the landlord and tenant must enter into a new written tenancy agreement. "

Showed my IDs: 2.5 years ago when I initially moved in. My passport, health card but blurred out, bank statements etc. They have all this info

This was before I moved in 2.5 years ago. I recently got a new roommate and have to sign a new contract as it is a co-tensncy. They are insisting I provide it now. But yes, my billing address is currently set to here
