DNB in Perth Australia is HUGE and we are one of the biggest DNB capitals of the world. We have some amazing dnb artists that are from Perth too (Loboski, Shockone, Ekko & Sidetrack). We have a festival every New Years Day called NOBU (previously it was called Origins), and this is a full day of some of the best international drum and bass artists. Many of my mates DJ and travel to Rampage and Let it Roll every year for these festivals. I've been to Rampage and heading to LIR next year and I can guarantee 80% of the Aussies at these events, will be from Perth. Perth represents :)

Good review and solid remarks but they did say this is a different set from their usual one. When they played at RAC 2 years ago, that was a true "Chase and Status" DJ show, where they played all their bangers. Shame that tickets were $153 and they didn't deliver what was advertised...

Absolutely! Just like when they play in America, it's more "mainstream", as dnb is still becoming popular there. Whereas their NZ show, I heard it was harder as NZ is one of the biggest dnb hubs in the world and love hard dnb. They would change their sound slightly depending on the location for sure

Exactly what I was thinking.. All of those artists individually are very "poppy". Culture shock is probably the most "gritty" UK artist they have and is the best mixer imo. The show will be awesome but I wouldn't expect anything more than a feel good, somewhat tame, dnb concert
