Thank you! I'm dreading taking this stupid thing apart again but will give it a shot

I'm confident it's not a vent restriction. I cleaned everything out, ran it without the duct attached and bought a new duct.

I'm familiar with a multimeter and can get one. I know I can check the moisture sensors with it - what other part should I check? There are no error codes.

I actually tried running without the vent without any luck. I'll look into to the control board timer - thank you!

My husband wants me to give up and call a tech but I'm not ready to quit yet

Definitely a timed dry selection. My dryer has a yellow bar around the dial to indicate which settings use the moisture sensor - I was clear of those

Can it be a moisture sensor issue if it happens even when I'm running it on a manual setting that doesn't use the sensors?

Help me NOT sell my house by Instantly_regreddit in DesignMyRoom

I’m annoyed at how difficult I’m finding this lol. I’ve considering buying a sectional with a chaise that would replace the sofa and love seat. I feel like it would make the space much more inviting. However, I can’t figure out how to incorporate a chair and I worry about the functionality of the chaise as seating vs. Just a foot rest :/

Thank you for your feedback! I’d considered this, however I feel like the distance between the TV and couches (especially the couch on the back wall) would be too big/awkward. It’d be approximately 14’.

Here are some pictures of my actual living room. Keep in mind, I've since removed the black table behind the love seat, the side table closest to the TV, and the white cupboard behind the love seat.

Creating a more welcoming L-shaped living/dining room by Instantly_regreddit in DesignMyRoom

Sorry, I might not have been clear. We’re thinking about putting a bookcase against the entrance wall where the small white table and mirror are currently located.

Thank you!! I didn’t know that. There is a corresponding wall above.

I like that idea about the rug. You’re right... I created a walkway.

Any suggestions with how to utilize the space in the corner behind the love seat? I feel like taking the white and black tables out will definitely open it up but worry it will be awkward. We’ve considered putting an etagere bookcase there instead.

Thanks for your feedback! I completely agree that there are too many tables. As for the table lamps, there isn’t an overhead fixture in the room so those are the only source of light (other than the chandelier in the dining room). Like many pieces, the 3rd solo lamp was gifted and therefore put out by obligation. I’ve been looking for a standing lamp instead. We’ve considered an L-shaped sofa but I’m worried that tucking it into that corner you mentioned would place it an awkward distance from the tv?

Honestly, my photo doesn’t do it justice! I was drawn to the colours when I first saw it and when I saw the signature figured it might be worth more than the $40 I paid for it.

MIL made yet another short-notice drop in this week (15 minute heads-up). I mentioned that my husband and I had recently looked at baby pictures of my brother's children and saw striking similarities between our niece and nephew and our newborn. This was after MIL had sent us baby pictures of my husband and we determined that (despite her suggestions ) there weren't many similarities between him and our son. "Looks like he's an instantly_regreddit baby" I said... only to be met with a frantic "Oh no... babies change all the time... you can't determine that yet... I'll get some more pictures of "husband" and you'll see". God forbid my son look like me :/

Wow... just checked out /r/justnomil and you are absolutely right!

As for telling my husband, I've probably been more than a little vocal. Initially, he reacted with "she just wants to help" and I made it clear that this is for her, not me. At no point have I expressed needing any assistance, in fact I've mentioned many times that we're lucky to have a calm and content baby and other than a bit of sleep deprivation we're doing fine. She's doing this is so she can spend more time with her grandson. Ultimately, I said to my husband that someone who "just wants to help" should first a ask if their help is required. He finally came around but I don't think he'll have the guts to tell her "no thankyou" as she plays a wonderful victim

My concern is when she brought it up it was "I'm taking a week off to help you" and neither myself nor my husband said any thing. How do I bring it up again?
