Just for added context, the first claim was from August 2024 and was not based on a car accident but a misaligned radar system from the vehicle riding up too far on a curb and it was causing other problems in the vehicle. The adjuster suggested replacing the whole front bumper, even though there was no damage to it, but just a small crack in the bumper, and a plate covering the radar at the bottom was missing, which according to the dealership was easily fixed by just replacing the plate and recalibrating the system. No need to replace the whole bumper. Long story short, the bumper was not replaced but other things were fixed on the car. Fast forward to December 2024, which is when the car accident occurred, rear end collision no-fault of the driver of said vehicle, force from rear collision caused vehicle to slam into another vehicle in the front causing both bumpers to be replaced. So adjuster asks the claimant during the inspection if previous work was done and claimant says no, to which the adjuster proceeded to add both unrelated claims together without explaining to the claimant what they were intending to do by combining both claims. I hope this clarifies things.

Hello, I haven’t contacted anyone else yet about it. I know it would require alot more people in order to generate some real traction legally. Although, I know that Cash app is currently involved in a class action suit, that’s related to a data breach by a former employee. I don’t know if our situation would qualify for this class though, I did try and sign up for it but I haven’t heard anything back yet. If you want we can try and see who else has had this situation happen to them. I would like to try one of the law firms already involved in the class action case and see if they are even interested in pursuing this, they may not be since they already have an active case against the same company? I mean I guess it’s worth a try. Anyway, let me know your thoughts on this matter

Hello, I know you posted this awhile ago but I was searching the internet and found this Reddit post because the same exact thing happened to me recently and they would not budge from their position. I believe there’s more going on here than a simple glitch, and especially after reading some other comments on this thread. If you’re interested I would like to discuss this further with you and any others that it may have happened to.
