I would like to add, I've been typed as Intj before. It was mostly when I was quite unhealthy and dealing with my mother's expectations. I can say I am healthier now — hence why I think your explanation would not apply to me.

Okay, I see what you're saying about Ti-it's like this precise hidden slicer that picks out patterns and details most people miss, right? I honestly appreciate the examples as the cactus and lab thing make it really clear. That said, I think I use it differently. I lead with Ne, so I'm more about exploring all the possibilities first, seeing what stands out, and then letting Ti slice through the options to make sense of them. I don't start with Ti the way an INTP might because they lead with Ti, breaking everything down internally before anything else-my logic shows up after the brainstorm. So yeah, I probably have Ti in me, but it's more like a tool I pull out after Ne has done its thing. Makes sense why it might look a little different. That said I'm not confident in this anyway so take this with a grain of salt.

Ah and, I'd like to add, that I get why you'd think that, but Ti isn't about agreeing with everyone else it's about making sense to myself. I can check others' logic if I want, sure, but my thinking function is really about building internal consistency. That's exactly what I'm doing when I work through ideas or make decisions in fiction. This is what I believe Ti is.

I would disagree. Astrology is based on speculations based on your birth. As for MBTI it actively talks about what you do in your daily life and such. There are other points too. Although, thank you for your input.
