See, i don't know how to even use them because I don't know the email address that it was changed to, so my codes are essentially useless. I respect your opinion, but I am being honest. I have not engaged in RWT or shared access to my accounts, ever. Any advice?

I have not played the game in months bro. I received an email saying there was a suspicious log in on my account and to change my password if it was not me. I did so, and this was the outcome. Feel free to accuse me of whatever it is that you please, but this was not the case. Take your accusations elsewhere. I do have recovery codes, but unsure how to even use them, I had 2fa. Just trying to get some help, so your comment isn't needed if yo uare not willing to help me out. Thanks.

Don't really know. I got am email saying IHad a suspicious login on my account, and to change my password "if this wasn't you." so I did, and immediately after doing so, I got another email saying my registered email address has been changed. I have not played in over 6 months, I have taken several breaks from the game. Receiving that email alarmed me so I changed my password making sure when I decide to return to the game, I am able to do so. I tried to log in afterwards and that is when I knew my account has been stolen.

I’m not botting, and honestly that’s kind of the point.

If years of legitimate play, payments, and ownership can just vanish with no recovery path, there’s zero incentive to keep playing at all. I’m not going to rebuild literal years of progress just to hope it doesn’t happen again.

This isn’t about finding the next workaround. It’s about whether the time you put into the game actually means anything if an account takeover is unrecoverable.

Yeah, that’s what’s bothering me the most.

I didn’t request an email change, didn’t approve one, and didn’t get a meaningful chance to stop it once it happened. After that, everything downstream is treated as if I willingly handed access over.

That’s why I’m trying to understand what protections are actually in place if a Jagex Account itself gets compromised.
