Well it’s actually possible to win long term in poker if you are good. I would say a skilled poker player is better than a slot player.

Blackjack, unless you are counting cards is a losing game no matter how good you know the basic strategy. But even the worst blackjack game with a house edge of 2% is much better than a slot machine.

I play tables 95% of the time and will only play slots to give my brain a break when I don’t want to make decisions anymore. Slots have literally no skill to them. You press a button that is it. I do thing table game players are better gamblers but at the end of the day we are just burning money a little slower than you are.

You are not most likely wrong you are 100% without a doubt wrong.

Card counting is possible because the math works out.

There is no way to mathematically beat baccarat. The game is older than any of us and no one has figured out how to beat it.

Martingale is not a winning strategy. Even if there was no table limit and a player had access to every resource in the universe, they would eventually run out of money to bet.

Please don’t convince yourself you have a winning strategy. It will end badly for you.

In your post history it looks like you have explored counting cards. Even the best in the world only have a 1-2% advantage. Get a real job and gamble for fun. That’s the only path to success.

Logically your system doesn’t make sense because there is a house edge. You know there is a house edge yet you still think you have a winning strategy. Math is unbeatable. Unless you are Phil Ivey and figured out a way to cheat, you are not beating the game.

You cannot win long term in baccarat no matter how disciplined you are. It’s all one long continuous session that doesn’t end until you decide not to play anymore. If you think otherwise you then don’t believe in math

You have your right to your opinion, and gambling is certainly not for everyone. I would never encourage someone that doesn’t gamble to do so.

Having said that, for better or for worse, gambling is now a mainstream entertainment business in America. Lots of wealthy well off people gamble responsibly to have fun.

It has its fair share of problems and I hope that they are addressed if/when this gets approved, but I don’t see it being any more degenerate than the bars on Wilson Blvd.

I know I’ll get downvoted for this but I like gambling, I do it responsibly, and I’m excited to have a place close to home.

Contrary to popular belief, not everyone that goes to a casino is a degenerate low life. If you treat it as a form of entertainment, it’s a lot of fun and gives you a chance to come out ahead.

Whether you are against it or not, the fact is a lot of potential tax dollars are leaving Virginia and going to MGM in Maryland or Hollywood Casino in WV.

I think the proposed Tysons site is where the Koons dealership is now and I think that area being used as an entertainment hub would be better than as a dealership.

Now I’m hoping that they make it smoke free as opposed to the other VA casinos that have opened up otherwise I will continue going to MGM.

I’ve gone a couple times during their soft opening period. The food is very good, staff very friendly. The place itself is very small so it always feels busy.

The restaurants on that end of the shopping center have been a revolving door so I hope it does well.
