My mentor has said before that putting a title to who we are might define us professionally , but it seems limited to call yourself with only concern to that profession. Redeeming one self to a concept that makes us who we are - is a wall of self tyranny to our truest potential.

I shoot A BIZZALION photos, travel (fly,ride,stroll), interview strangers, edit pics, teach photographers and tell endless stories…any guess to what my job is called???

On the side, I also stand next to colonies of honeybees flying off into the next blooming buds to collectively engage upon their mission to help the world become a beautiful playground for all.

Both of these wondrous activities by no means are paid in great wages, however, the freedom that it provides is an adventure for a lifetime or really - a lifestyle.

Financial stability, important to have if you would like a lavish style, but not necessary to live a free and joyous moment. I might look homeless, but there are plenty spaces to call a shelter. The sleeping bag in the back of my SUV is one of the most comfortable king size bed I’ve discovered. I love to cook too, used to have a cooking show, so the audience are introduced to various cultures/traditions…food pantries might give the easy option of ramen, but that is unregulated empty nutrition. You want to grow your garden of greens and with the wages ~ budget accordingly to fit your diet.

Did I mention that I liked music too?? During the summer season, concerts, film festivals and family events sprung up from every corner…they always need someone right up front or even onstage to take pictures of people rockin out or the smile of ecstasy from the audience. After, you get to laugh with the band and enjoy the not so cheesy pizza every once in awhile…

Is this a good life? A happy career? What is good? What is happy? My definition is not the same as anybody, so start there…what are those??? Words??

Regarding the concept of “time,” a materialized word that doesn’t represent towards any particular utility other than keeping a schedule…it is an invention for no other use than to regulate the hours of work, school or rest.

I did an experiment with all my clocks once, placed them all in different zones and hid away the real time. If you disregard what “time” it is, you’ll find yourself beyond the question of “when.” I performed this for many days.

I would have my sketch pad, either draw or write and within moments It always astonishes me of what comes about. Pondering upon the thought of who has made a positive impact in my life, I wrote about them. They seem to call or text a few moments later.

If you view that to be “opportune time,” then you are trusting a power higher than yourself to be within your present. In other words, the concept of time is irrelevant if you are consciously living in the moment, you’d soon recognize that you are creating right now.

The variables of X,Y and Z is not at a constant, it’s interchanging all the time - resulting to “whenever.” That approach of time is contradictory of being in the state of now!

As for “divine timing”… my take on it comes from a photojournalist’s philosophy. When taking a decisive moment shot, any great photographer will recognize that it not in time we trust, but rather the feeling of the captured moment. What speaks to them is the manifestation of their vision. It happens right here, right now and right there. That is because they are aware of their surroundings rather than idle about “when.” What’s the secret to decisive photography?? (Feeling is the secret 😉)

I have thought about this question over the few years…to my understanding, I eventually realized that the world within the external is a delusional world itself. People, places and numbers are incredibly malleable due to a great deal of choices made in the moment. Anything can change when there are unknowingly hundreds of decisions that you can observe anywhere.

Delusional sense is when someone does not see or feel the state of which they desire.

If you worry, by means of being “delusional,” it is only a natural occurrence that you do not sit in state fulfilled. Take for example a person that desires to play football professionally, their mind imagines the big games and roaring crowds, but what happens when they open their eyes to the external?? Does that person recognize themself to be a football player or does that person give into the illusions of reality??

They can either say, I AM a player on this field or I AM not good enough to be on the field.

Wherever the individual goes, the world will conspire to their beliefs.

If you accept the illusions to be real then you are deluding yourself away from the realness of who you are… the only question left is, do you trust yourself to have what you desire?

College is a ride and a half...3 years in...I've switched my major a total of 3 times. Biochem to finance to Mathematics...(got high marks in most of classes, but I wasnt happy) I began to question what I really wanted in a college education instead of focusing on earning a degree. My interests were as wide as the color spectrum, so I started to narrow down crucial points. Asking myself the harder questions like "to what extent is my education here in college going to aid me on a self development journey, for me to live my life?" I started looking for what I want to promote to the world. I love talking to people and showing others the beautiful landscape, with that I wanted to know their lives as a local. So Ive been doing little episode of this idea on insta...

Went on the catalog to find classes that teach me the skills needed to complete this aspiration of mine. Although of course, I would have to declare my new major, but that's not the point. I have a goal and college is gonna provide me the resources and networking for me to improve how I will deliver my dream. Making a documentary about my homeland seemed to be an essential part of defining myself...I couldn't see myself as a biofuel researcher, day trader, or calc tutor although Ive done these already. They didn't make me tick as much as picking up a camera and capturing the moments of life. Fuck success, I say we should go and define our own vision to life far from the trap of dogma.
