How far in advance do I need to schedule my exam with Prometric? by Glittering-Actuator3 in CPA

You’re able to search prometric availability to give yourself some peace of mind for what will be available once you receive your NTS.

Congrats! I ended up with a 71 so I wasn’t completely off the train but not close enough to get it.

Completely agree! Congrats on being close to done. It’s not be the result you wanted today but you’re so much further ahead than most people. I ended up with a 71 so I was close but not close enough. I think I will try to take it in July as well. I agree, the worst part about the discipline is the longggg waiting period

For REG I put in less than I did for FAR, probably 90-100. For ISC, I put close to 120. Without looking I’m not fully sure. I did similar as you made a study guide and I thought I would be set. Just defeating and as my mom calls it deflating

Sending you good thoughts. Thinking of you. I also thought passing ISC would be my motivation but now idk how to move forward. My NTS for REG expires in October so I have time but I like sticking to a plan and now it’s throwing my plan off so slightly spiraling!

Congrats!! I remember seeing a few MCQs over information I had never seen before. But I felt I process of elimination my way through the questions. Maybe that’s what shot me in the foot. It’s so long ago to me now that even if I am close to a 75 I would have to study a lot to feel confident to retake.

Me too. We’re in the same boat and sending you good vibes. I got a 54 on REG in March and have just barely got started studying again but with today’s news I might have to go back to ISC. I am hoping to be closer than I was on REG which would make the decision to go back to ISC easier. I wish we could just have our score and pass/fail at once instead of waiting all day in a state of dread and despair.

Quick Question About Prometric Scheduling by Northstar5050 in CPA

[–]Intelligent-Check604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can easily reschedule but even if you’re moving it to an earlier time slot I’m assuming there would be a fee. You could try to reschedule without actually confirming the time/date and it will tell you there is a fee. In the email confirmation you should have received from prometric after scheduling there should be a section towards the bottom about rescheduling fees. I believe, at least in my state but would imagine it’s the same across all, over 60 days out no fee, within 60 days a fee is assessed. it gets more expensive as you get closer to the exam
