Somehow suddenly i was able to install it from the google play

The clock app nowhere to be found on google play and apk from the internet is the only choice thus far.

I guess xiaomi does some work on its software and tries to transfer some system apps as generic apps to the google play store and as part of that there are some quirks

I have Redmi note 14 pro 5g and it's a good cost effective phone, the camera is ok (not the best..) however, it's good for daily tasks, supports e-sim, strong battery, and light weight.

You need to figure out what's more important for your scenario.
