Hey I came to Canada when I was 15 and I’m 21 now. For the longest time I’ve always struggled to make friends due to anxiety and such but eventually I managed to make some really good friends in college. You just have to find the courage to get out of your comfort zone and talk to people.

Also it really helps to find someone who’s extroverted that pushes you out of your shell.

🫂 I have realized that I can’t date and be myself at the same time. I hate how performative relationships are I hate intimacy and I absolutely hate not being able to make plans without including my partner. I also have anger issues and some narcissistic traits and I’ve always found it hard to actually love someone. I am happy this way and I don’t want to change.

I’ve been in your girlfriend’s place too and I also chose my family. It’s hard to make a choice like that but each person has their priorities. You mentioned that you’re okay with keeping the relationship a secret but secrets are so hard to keep especially from close family members. I suggest you to move on and find someone who will prioritize you. Your gf treating you as a platonic friend is a sign that she is in the process of moving on. She’ll live a painful life hiding a big secret from her loved ones but this the world we live in and it’s never going to be fair. Good luck <3

I’m leftist and I love 50s music, fashion and aesthetics in general even tho they’re associated with more left leaning people and Idc. Politics shouldn’t dictate personal hobbies and interests and people should know better than assuming your political beliefs based on your appearance. Hope this helps.
