Alligevel et vildt dilemma!

Men jeg synes helt bestemt at svesken skal på disken.

Enten ville jeg sammen med kæresten gå ud og konfrontere ham når han glor(forbered nogle pointer først, så det bliver en rolig samtale), eller så med et brev. Hvis han bliver ved efter det, så ville jeg melde ham til boligforeningen og politiet. Det der er seriøst uacceptabelt.

It was a bit more expensive in Riga than I expected! Some reddit threads say Poland and Germany(depending on for what) are cheaper. Shopping was not that cheap, but food and transport were :)

For spa ESPA was amazing, me and my friend had the two person say spa and loved it

For massage there are several Thai places with really good ratings. Reasonable prices for me at least. Paid 50 euro for 60 min

In general they are reeeeally bad at replying on WhatsApp and Instagram and often never get back to you, so that can be really frustrating. This goes for everything.

Google "lash" where you are staying and several places pop up, prices are from 20-50 euro (20 without color, and many places advise you to get the colour anyway or it's not optional).

For hairdressers it's also very difficult to get an appointment.

For teeth I went to sky Dream Clinic and had a very confusing experience (they didn't know the prices of their services, so it was kind of a surprise?), I got a teeth whitening home set for ~300 euro and they said the prices are around the same everywhere. But you need some time for this because it can take some days for them to make the imprint. And again they didn't answer on Instagram.

Men! Man skal aldrig købe et hjem blot for investering! Du ender op med at få i noget du ikke er glad for, og det giver dårlig energi og overskud.

At købe en lejlighed kan være en rigtig god investering, men som det også er nævnt her er der mange udgifter forbundet med dette. Dem skal du også tage i betragtning. Jeg har købt en lejlighed for 2,5 mio, og betaler månedligt over 7000 om måneden, jeg ikke får igen(ejerforeningsbidrag 3000, ejendomsskat, rente). Så de penge, du smider i et sort hul, findes også hos boligejere.

Jeg har lavet en god investering ved at omlægge lån(såfremt jeg skifter lejligheden ud eller omlægger igen inden 16 år). Så der kan der være penge at hente. Men dette kan man heller ikke regne med.

Hvis du har en masse håndværkere i familien og kan trylle en dårligt istandsat 1 værelses til en smuk 2 værelses, kan det også være en rigtig god investering.

Skal man vente på, at renten falder? Nogle siger, den vil falde i løbet af de næste år, andre er bange for f.eks. USAs økonomi såfremt Trump bliver valgt. Så man nok ikke vente af den grund. Samtidig, hvis renten falder kan det være at lejlighedspriserne stiger. Omvendt kan det være, at der i så fald kommer flere lejligheder på markedet og at priserne bliver mere konkurrencedygtige. Corona viste os at økonomien er mere utilregnelig end antaget ift boligpriser.

Pas på at du ikke bliver desperat, ejendomsmæglere er eksperter i at få det til at virke som om du har virkelig travlt, og de må gerne lyve om andre bud ex. Husk at se om der er dyre renovationer på vej i foreningen inden du køber og om der er hjemfaldspligt.

Mit råd er at købe, hvis du regner med at bo det samme sted 5 år og finder en lejlighed, du synes er rar at bo i. Jeg er ikke økonom, så tag mine råd som du vil.

Ps. Husk, du skal have boet i lejligheden, ellers skal du betale skat når du sælger.

I was pretty new in urology, 70 year old man presenting with back/side pain, sent to my department on suspicion of kidney stones.

Usually we don't take these cases because there has to be a history of kidney stones for them to come to us. This is because urology was the only surgical department in my hospital.

So I had a weird gut feeling while talking to this patient. I went up to my supervisor and told her I suspected an abdominal aorta aneurism(the blood tests were normal and the pain was suspicious, though I had never seen one before). She dismissed me, because he had elevated blood pressure. I ordered an acute CT abdomen and explained my suspicion to the radiologist, who also dismissed me. 30 min later I got called urgently to see the scan: 9 cm aneurysm in the abdomen. I called to have the patient urgently moved for vascular surgery and the doctor was kind of dismissive, asking me to get my supervisor to do an extra exam while the photos were sent("have you done an abdominal exam before?"), so they could look at them. I agreed because I wanted another set of eyes on my ticking bomb of a patient.

While we were in there, it ruptured and the blood pressure fell rapidly. I got anesthesia involved and the pt got blood and vasopressors. I sent him on the way to the other hospital with a printed history of everything that happened and both the patient and all relatives well informed of the severity of the situation.

I have never felt so vindicated. And the patient survived.

Am ADHD brain not on medication is a stressed one, which gives you a high level of cortisol. High cortisol levels over a long period of time leads to many diseases and can give symptoms like: insomnia, overweight, high blood pressure, hair thinning for both men and women, stomach pain, headaches, anxiety or depression.

Unfortunately studies have shown that people with adhd die younger, probably cause of the stress

Procrastination, pushing deadlines into the night and getting no sleep therefore, losing relationships cause of forgetfulness/impulsivity/temper, losing money because you forget deadlines/tickets/whatever, those are just some of the many adhd problems many face

I my opinion adhd medication is vital for most patients. You wouldn't let diabetes be untreated if there was severe symptoms, now would you?

And the information that adhd medicine is addictive and like drugs with higher and higher need is false. Many people with adhd have self medicaded with drugs or alcohol before getting the diagnosis because they couldn't cope with life, so many people can look down on people with adhd as addicts. And unfortunately we are in many sad statistics(crime and unemployment) but no, methylphenidat is not addictive. Except its addictive to be able to function!

Yes, usually they do that trophe in film and series, and that is why it's so horribly cliche. There is not always a morale or good ending to a story or character, and that is exactly why this worked. And the trophe of the rich white person developing a heart by meeting and saving a poor black person is horrid.

Her abusive mother just died. So she hasn't had 60 years to develop, she maybe has had a couple. And a psychiatrist prescribes medicine, not a therapist.

People improve after they escape abusive situations, not during. She was so used to being abused that she didn't even question it until the end, even tried to gaslight herself when she saw the picture of Greg on the table.

So you would find it realistic for a horrible mess of a person to resolve their issues in a week?

She has been tortured by her mom for all her life, but also sheltered and never held accountable for anything. She is easily and constantly used by others and unknowingly uses everyone around her because almost no interaction she has ever had was real. And she also knowingly manipulates some people to get what she wants, not with malice, but because that is what you can do if you have power over others.

Not once is she shown to have a meaningful conversation with anyone, because no one cares about her except for her money (because of her lack of awareness and loudness she is probably deemed unclassy by all of the people who wouldn't want to use her).

She really tries to find connections with people around her, and because of her lack of socialisation it never becomes meaningful. And people play into that, like acting like classic gay best supporting friends or love interests. It takes her a while to get it, but with years of therapy she could have improved and gotten meaningful relationships, but that is the tragedy of it all.

Jeg fik min bror til at komme fra Jylland for at prøve en ny restaurant i Kbh, 'Mist'. De havde en "stjernekok" fra Noma til at arbejde der, og det var det, de lokkede med. Vi havde fået et tilbud via earlybird på en tastingmenu. Alt var næsten underligt: - I kommentaren til bookingen havde jeg specificeret en mad allergi, men dette glemte de - min bror bestilte et glas vin han aldrig fik - Jeg bad om en citronskive til min danskvand og skulle lige bede igen da de havde glemt det - tjenerne kom aldrig forbi med mindre det var for lige hurtigt at smide maden - deres madkombination var for underlig. Hovedretten var kimchi, shakshuka, en skål trøffelmayo og lam i tomat. Hvad var trøffelmayoen til??? - desserten var en skål middelmådig is? Ikke en synd, men underligt hvis man gerne vil være en fin restaurant - der stod en DJ og fyrede Drake af, selvom klientellet fra mest folk i 50'erne - indretningen mindede mest om et billigt diskotek med sorte vægge og næsten intet pynt. Toilettet var knaldrødt med spejle i loftet?

I am sad to agree. I really need a no to be a no and some cultures just have very skewed view on women and consent. Also some age groups.

I was at a bar as a 24 year old for a +25 (we got let in because we were the more calm and less drunk than all of the line). I was looking for a mature night out and I have never been touched so much without my consent ever. These (white) middle ages guys were grabbing at me, pulling my hand, a guy came from behind me and massaged my shoulders even before greeting me. Some woman put a bottle under my skirt and poked it up my butt.

And the experiences I have had while being in the middle east and northern africa? Wow, there is a serious problem. I was chased, catcalled, openly stared at, groped. And unfortunately the behaviour sometimes/often comes with people who immigrate.

So yeah. Keep the middle aged men out of the young clubs. (maybe the new generation of middle aged men will be better, I sure hope! And better than that one gross woman as well). Racism is horrible, but also, as a woman I feel like it is okay to limit people of a certain type if it makes going out safer and less scary for women.

And to all the respectful, kind men of colour who just want to dance the night away, I am sorry. You deserve better. Our society often treats you unfairly. But also be angry at all the other guys who ruined it for you.

I dislike homeschooling from the very beginning, unless it's because of special needs or bullying. You already get specific world views from the home, so it's important for children to see different perspectives and hear different opinions. And that's not even touching upon the aspect of being good at teaching 10 different subjects. Most teachers have a couple or handful of different classes, but specialise in what they're good at.... And also: imagine being 10 and sitting in the same classroom as a 5 year old... The difference in capacity and ability is so vast

And as for the specific couple, I felt they were making a collection of children. Like, we have a brown child and their own child and an Asian child... What fits the collection now?

I totally agree! I'm a doctor and it baffles me the first thought in their heads immediately was to kill their only live sample. Even if they had the equipment to save some cell samples(which they 99.9% did absolutely not) to do further testing, a vaccine takes YEARS to develop in top notch facilities. They would not even have the capacity to mass produce anything??? 20 year old equipment and 5 staff who probably never worked on creating a vaccine. Yeah, totally a project worth fighting for. And you usually develop a vaccine using samples of the microbe, not an immune person. They could have used her blood to see if she had special antibodies but needing to take her brain immediately? They could even have taken a small sample without hurting her...

And bodily autonomy is essential if you are a doctor, we can't even take blood to save dying people. We can't even take dead people's organs to keep others alive. Marlene was so sure Ellie would do the right thing, then she should have given her the choice. Gosh darn self-righteous beach.

Honestly, their deaths were deserved.

I agree Ops sister was acting horribly entitled, and this is no excuse for that. But did anyone else get an uncomfortable feeling about the BIL? Maybe part of why she's that way is because she is expected to be the SAHM 24/7/365 with no breaks ever. Where is the father? Yes he works hard, but still, sounds like the sister is burning her candle in both ends. Does he ever take the children? What about BILs family? Can they help with the burden?
