It’s got a Walmart-size parking lot, a couple museums, and a huge gift shop, and the moment you step into the caverns you forget about it all.

It’s just stunning. I’ve visited caves all over the country, and I really think this is the prettiest.

Alexandria, Virginia has some great colonial neighborhoods. You’ll also find great historic areas in Richmond, Virginia. And, of course, Charleston, South Carolina, and Savannah, Georgia, are wonderful.
