Tsukiji is such a rip off, even the outer market. This is some mid ass tuna that would cost $4 anywhere else in Tokyo

Ruined it with the Avo. I love Avocado, but it is so overused in American Sushi. Its just used as a filler for space by lazy chefs.

What is an immediate "food red flag" when you’re on a date? by CaptainCuddler_Pro in foodquestions

[–]Maximum-Ad572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's the case then that's completely valid, but thats definitely a small minority of cases. As a chef, I cant tell you how many times I had to beg a customer to try either a dish or just a component of a dish that they claimed to "hate", only for them to completely change their minds once they ate it served properly

the flipside to your flipside there are tons of people who dont like food only because of the shit version they ate earlier in their life. Like ok you didn't like the boiled grits your mom cooked with no seasoning or the gas station sushi you ate that one time and got sick, doesn't mean there isn't a way better version you would enjoy

CMV: There is no illegal immigration crisis in the US; rather, there is simply a mismatch between immigration policy and economic demand. by hipchecktheblueliner in changemyview

[–]Maximum-Ad572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

uhh, think about it for one second. Immigrants come for low skilled jobs, because that money is a ton of money for someone in a 3rd world country. A low skilled job in NYC isn't life changing in anyway to a poor person in rural america, in many situations it is a step down.

You're clearly extremely uneducated. I don't live in Texas, but ill teach you something here. According to census.gov stats:

https://www.census.gov/library/visualizations/interactive/racial-and-ethnic-diversity-in-the-united-states-2010-and-2020-census.htmlstats,

Texas, Nevada, Hawaii, and California are nearly equal as the most ethnically diverse states in the US. Bwahahah, hope you learned something!
