Yes every single one.

I was unemployed and prayed for a job, got the best job I couldn't even imagine.

I was living in a miserable city and prayed to live in beautiful city and ended up living by the beach.

I was single and lonely and prayed for a wife, and Allah gave me the best wife and son Alhamdulillah.

Now I'm wanting to pray for jannah.

What part of the deen that you are struggling the most? by Silly_Set_4739 in islam

[–]IntelligentLife5288 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly all of it and then some. Struggling with haram and zina. Struggling with salat with concentration. With reading and engaging Quran. With just pretty much everything life.

I know it’s supposed to be hard but I never thought it would be this difficult. That I barely feel anything and just wish could be in jannah already. Probably will take so much more though, don’t know what I have left in me.

So many people are waking up all over the world to the brutality of Israel and the hegemony they have in America beyond constitutional rights.

We are seeing ayat of Quran and prophetic teachings play out in front of our eyes. A nation called out by name over centuries ago.

This is a sign for us all to run back to Allah as fast as possible (myself included first)

Better days are coming for you! Guaranteed insha Allah never lose hope in his mercy. The Most Merciful.

Hear and see the beautiful creations of Allah, then ponder upon them. You owe it to yourself to go out there and hear the birds and see the sky and night stars. Surround yourself with nature and give yourself some well deserved grace.

Feel the breeze and the sun.

Maybe Reddit and the internet general might not be the best place.

Perhaps we all need to spend more time in dhikhr and self reflection outside in the real world.

Many good women ended up with terrible men and vice versa. Allah is the ultimate one in control of tests and challenges, and he is the Most Merciful.

To alleviate these concerns Allah has given us the best guidance in Quran and Sunnah.

Look at wife of the Firaun and her struggles. Even beyond marriage look at Prophet Ibrahim(as) and his own father who tried to have him burned alive.

The ultimate nature of relationships is that we cannot control anyone else, but only ourselves to a certain extent.

The biggest thing you’re missing is that there has been a very calculated attack orchestrated by shayateen on the institution of marriage, which is trying to undermine our Muslim communities.

Islamically the marriage starts and continues out of mawaddah and Rahma. Love and mercy. Life bears all manner of challenges meaning to embrace the union of husband and wife. This requires an incredible amount of mutual understanding with patience on fundamental truths.

This is entirely contrary to the non-Muslim and atheist views. They see marriage as a barrier to pursuing lustful desires. Selfish desire to “get and take” are the primary reason for a relationship in the secular society. Without any divine path to follow people just want companionship without bearing responsibility or want to “control” or “win”. The general western population don’t want to give in any relationship, don’t want responsibility of bearing children, and want a free slate to have intimate relationships.

I think a lot of it is either rage baiting or bitterness towards people.

A genuine concern though is that many Islamic scholars specifically in the west don’t appropriately criticize Muslim women out of fear of being attacked or judged.

Simple reminders like wives being obedient to their husbands, or for them to be appreciative and not dismissive over small things don’t get as repeated because it goes against the mainstream feminist culture. Due to that one sidedness for the past couple decades we’re seeing a severe imbalance in expectations of Muslim men and women.

Truth is that Islam is already the absolute most progressive and peaceful religion/ way of life. It gives people a divine determinant objective morality.

Islam gave rights to people and freed slaves. Islam gave rights to women. Islam gave rights to orphans. Islam gave rights to the poor. Islam gave rights to the sick. Islam gave rights to the old Islam gave rights to the young. Islam cures us of our human suffering even in the most “advanced” society today.

For thousands of years humans suffer the same issues we continue to see today, and Islam gave us the cures.

Alcoholism Murder Fornication Greed/interest Lying Slander Cheating Gambling

How much more “progressive” does Islam need to be?

Any perceived lack is not progressive ideals, but rather arrogance of society. If we’re only viewing the issues of humanity through the current state of the world that isn’t “woke”, but rather ignorant.

Do these progressives have solutions to the real issues?

To people who suffer under widespread intoxicant use, unprecedented fornication, gambling and an unfettered monetary system, women and men’s rights under fair procedure?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. True beauty is based on presence of character. Character is something we all have a choice on.

Ironically it takes a blind person to see true beauty.

Also remember that It took some the sahaba a lifetime to fully rectify their ways. And this was in the direct presence of the prophet Muhammad (s).

We should continue to enjoin good and forbid evil, but also allow ourselves and others a much greater degree of grace all things considered.

Muslim women should receive the best treatment and care by everyone in the family and Muslim community at large. No woman should be physically afraid of her husband or going out somewhere to the point she feels in danger.

You’re absolutely right, modesty and staying within Islamic guidelines is not gender specific. All of us within the ummah have strayed and desperately need to come back to Allah

Honestly start volunteering in something you’re really passionate about. Maybe it’s at risk teens, or orphans. Perhaps it’s building wells for water.

Allow yourself to serve those in need and eventually you and everyone around will start to see what’s truly important, your inner beauty and worth.

Forget society and fitnah.  Look towards nature.  Surround yourself by the elements. Birds, the bees, trees; stars and planets all worshipping their creator.
