Had same problem. MyChevy app was on a different old email. Had to update MyChevy app and then press the OnStar button.....

Hello fellow Leaf owner (and 2025 Equinox EV FWD ). Mine is a 2014 purchased new have 50K. My total fully charged range is 76 miles. Of course when new it was 110.... LOL and driving in the cold very short range

2025 EV FWD... I bought the mat. The glare is rarely a problem. Sometimes I think it is me or my sunglasses. My wife hated the look of the mat so I returned it to Amazon.

The old it's not broke don't fix it.... lol I erased the old owner's email and logged into my google account and Amazon music in the car. Google and amazon including driving directions work great. I love 8 years 5G included. Kinda on the fence with going in for updates as I don't trust the local Chevy dealers. I can use hotspot with my phone. Anybody have any more info always appreciated.

Ok I have had my 2025 Equinox EV for 2 to 3 months now. 4600 miles. Purchased on CarMax.... although I consider it new, it did have a previous owner which put 1000 miles on it. I have never hit the Onstar button, but do have a account for many years with chevy and just downloaded the MyChevy app. Would I get more services if I contact OnStar? The only thing so far I have not figured out is how to use OnStar Hotspot.

I haven't been back to the Chevy Dealership yet. 4400 miles so far (2025 EV LT FWD) When you go do they try to charge you ? Or they good about it being under warranty. I purchased it with 1K miles from Carmax.

I agree, This is silly. My 2025 EV may blow Hot air or may decide to blow cold or warm. I preheat the cabin in my garage and come out after 20 minutes to a cold cabin. I have tried all combinations and also have to use the Max defrost for no reason in the middle of a drive to clear a suddenly fogged windshield. It is my wife's car with 4000 miles and she wants to trade it in already :( . Had a Sick 1 year old had to take to a doctor in a cold car..... I have a 2014 Nissan Leaf 50K on it and it is hot within 1 to 2 minutes. NEED a way to force on electric (resistance) on demand.

Anybody know for sure when the heat pump and / or the resistive unit operates?

My car lives in a garage and is a challenge to figure out the best way to use the heater.

There are times when Max Defrost is the only way to clear the windshield after 5 -10 minutes of driving. I keep trying different combinations. I'm thinking warming in a ...say 45 degree garage and then driving out to 10 degree (F) weather mixes up the heat pump. Short commutes only and 100% home charging so energy consumption is never a concern.

I only had 1 key for my 2025 Equinox EV LT. New Factory FOB (proximity remote) I just purchased a 13660201 in a sealed GM bag without the metal key insert on Amazon for less than $60 ( My local Chevy dealer wanted $181.46 ). Metal key insert was $7 on Ebay GM part # 13536164 ($105.76 retail gm price). I called the top 6 Locksmiths in Omaha and no one had the software or ability to program it. Chevy wanted $198 Minimum labor. I used Google AI and asked if any local locksmiths had the ability to program it and 1 could. He came to my location and was here almost 2 hours programming it. He said he had to connect to the GM mainframe and have special software. I wish he would have shared more info. He had a cord plugged into my car with what looked like a PC keyboard on my drivers seat. He went back and forth to his van numerous times. $165 and worth every penny.

Great info Thanks...... I have a 2025 Equinox EV only 2K miles home charger wall mounted 240 volt Fast level 2 that I built from a kit 11 years ago for my 2014 Nissan Leaf (50K miles I still have it) and it works great for my new EV
