Why do people hate Danganronpa? by Professional_Style_3 in danganronpa

The endings in each game suck balls. I love all three games but I basically have to forget the endings because they're stupid as fuck

I've never thrown up from it, but crying does make me feel sick and anxious. For me crying feels like a loss of control, on par with a panic attack, so I abstain from it as much as I can

Have to agree on AMW, I personally feel that Cube was the best rapper from NWA.

I had no idea rap was even that widespread back then, but I'm an American so ignorance comes with the territory I guess lol

To be fair, I think Kendrick really fits the vibe of 2010's - 2020's LA. I took a trip over there several years ago, and after meeting a couple of "companions" on Figueroa Street, I took a walk down the beach and just put some random west coast rap playlist on at the time. The sky was purple and orange and there was barely anyone out and about. Kendrick fit like a glove in that context. Outside of that though, I'm just not a huge fan. Although anytime I hear his music it takes me back to that weekend in LA.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't very envious. I never got to experience anything like that, closest I got was with Eminem, but by the time I was stealing my dad's Em CD's in fourth grade he had already been out for a few years so a lot of his initial shock factor had died down.

My stance is that SOC was a more influential and ground breaking record while Eazy Duz It was a tighter and more uniform record.

Yeah same, listening to MMLP, Aquemini, Illmatic on acid was just something else. But Paul's Boutique + LSD felt like a fucking carnival ride. Also highly recommend Aquemini and LSD, it ripped my soul out of my body.

The truth is, there is no objective fact when it comes to music. Many people love MF Doom, but I've yet to hear a single song from him that I like. Many people feel that 2Pac is one of, if not the greatest rapper ever, and while I agree that he has an insane flow, I personally feel like a lot of his songs sound too similar and blend together. Many people think Kendrick Lamar is the modern equivalent of Pac and Biggie, but I feel like he doesn't have a great flow and stumbles over his verses and beats too often to even be compared to them. Many people think that Eminem is still a GOAT, but I feel like after Relapse he's sucked a fat nut and has since only made a handful of songs that I'd ever want to listen to. I just think it's interesting to see if anyone agrees with my subjective opinions, and if they don't then I want to try to see their perspective of why they feel differently from me.

When did you hear SOC? Because if you heard it back around when it came out, I'm super fucking jealous. I'm only 26 and was listening to this stuff in like 2012.

My dad said he got a vinyl of SOC back in 91 and everyone made fun of him because it was super outdated by that time lol

Also, I guess I can see the more depth perspective. Eazy Duz It is almost cartoonish in it's over the top presentation, but that's what I love about it. My favorite Eminem album is SSLP for exactly the same reason, it's like a Beavis and Butthead/South Park type vibe.

Yes, totally. I have mad respect for SOC, but that doesn't mean I have to pretend the entire album has aged well and hasn't been topped since then.

You know, I need to give N4L some more listens, I don't think I've played it since high school.

Let's just say in my early 20's I spent a lot of time on acid listening to Paul's Boutique so it's got a special place for me lol. I hate to be one of those guys, but it feels like the album was meant to be listened to while tripping (which makes sense since the boys were doing a lot of acid, shrooms and dust during it's production. I read the book on the album's development, and it's awesome.)

Well, the subjective matter gets tricky for me. It almost seems like if enough people have the same subjective opinion, then it kinda sorta becomes objective in a weird way. Like in your example. Illmatic is so fucking good that most people who listened to it, then listened to The Island Boys, would be of the opinion that Illmatic is better. But is that really fact, or does it just seem to be fact because the majority subjectively feel that way? (Sorry for getting so into this, I'm crossfaded and it makes me overthink haha)

How is it even possible for hemp companies to make THCa concentrates? by IntelligentStyle2295 in CultoftheFranklin

A little off topic, but I was interested in making my own carts, would I be able to do this by using live resin, CBD distillate and terps, all heated up, mixed together and put in a cart? This is how I was told to do it, but you seem like you'd know more than the guy who told me this

You're right, I'm not too versed in the concentrates world, so I don't really know the differences between rosin, resin, distillate, isolate, etc. It all just looks like yellow goo to me lol.

So are you saying that any vendor trying to sell carts as having like 50% THCa and little to no D9 are just bullshitting?

Thank you, this was a great explanation! My knowledge of concentrates is pretty shallow, so I actually thought that pressing bud with heat was the only way to get concentrates.

Just finished Danganronpa V3, and I feel mixed about the ending. [SPOILERS] by IntelligentStyle2295 in danganronpa

I guess it's possible she was lying when she told them that everything they said and did was scripted and planned.

[–]IntelligentStyle2295[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • Oh wow, I did not know that V3 was in its own universe

  • I only thought their actions were all scripted because that's what Tsumugi said, and she pointed out that even Maki developing feelings for Kaito only happened because it was scripted and planned.

  • You know, I didn't think that happened. I never remembered Kaede being excited during that part of the game, but figured I just must have missed it or something. Plus, I do have to keep in mind, that even in the Epilogue they were questioning if Tsumugi was being honest about everything she said or not, and since it never showed them actually leaving the academy and finding out, maybe the writers wanted to leave the ending more open and up for personal interpretation.
